What do I do with this?

What do I do with this?

I recently purchased A garage worth of machining equipment from a friend's father's estate. Included was a bunch of metal. Among that metal was this piece of tungsten, 7/8 x 5-1/8". What's the practical use for this? I have machining equipment but I doubt I have anything that would cut this. And even if I did, I don't know what could be made with it. The guy did a lot of tool grinding/ tool making. So I assume it was related to that.

Hand tool, razor sharp. From estate of retired machinist / fabricator.

From a friend's estate who passed away. He was a machinist and a tool grinder. Lots of small electronic tools as well. Has. A long razor blade in the top half and a flat on the bottom. When you squeeze the handles, the razor blade comes down to the flat. No markings on the tool.

2002 F350, what trailer hooks are you using?

2002 F350, 12,000 lb equipment trailer. The safety chain hooks don't fully fit into the hitch. They're extremely hard to put in and extremely hard to take out. Can anyone recommend a pair of hooks with 3/8 pins that worked well for them?

Secondary handrail turning inside corner

I'm on the final touches of a second story (12 ft tall) Deck I've been building on the back of my barn for shamefully a full year now. The stairs have a landing and turn about halfway. This is my first major decking project so I've run into some hiccups. I'm scratching my head preparing to install the secondary handrail and I'm realizing a 90 at this inside corner won't actually do. I set up the lower and upper handrails so they would wrap continuously at an angle all the way around the corner. So taking this 90 to a horizontal and then kicking it down isn't an option without making the handrail somewhat irregular. I've already spent a lot of money on this project, so I don't just want to throw more at it. In your opinion, would the pictured angle adjustable corner do the job? In my novice opinion, an angle over 90° would do what I need it to do. So I think.

T.e. connectivity crimper dies

Can anyone recommend a part number to die part number guide for te connectivity Spade connectors? I've spoken twice with them on the phone and had two emails to their customer service department and they still haven't replied to me. Very disappointing as they're not a cheap product but so far their customer service stinks. I have four pairs of amp connector ratcheting crimpers. I just need the part number for the die. The connectors I have in mind are:

63757-2

140791-2

60773-2

Also seeking a 1/4-in open barrel double crimp style flag (90°) female Spade connector If anyone has a suggestion. Trying to keep everything to 14 gauge wire.

Battery float, charger repair. Resistor identification

I have a little battery float charger that's stopped working. It works momentarily when I tap it on a surface but almost immediately stops working. I opened it and found two resistors and capacitor that appeared to have some corrosion. The markings on the capacitor I can more or less see but the resistor. The only marking I can read is 07. Does anyone have any idea what this might be?

7.3 l oil leak - lots of work. Still not fixed....

2002 F350 7.3 l.

Last fall I took the truck off the road because went from a little oil leak to a massive oil leak. I'm talking like a drip every second or two. The spring I took most of the common oil leak areas off and resealed them. New valve cover gaskets, new hpop lines, deleted turbo pedestal with new o-rings. Even rebuilt the turbo while I was in there. Took it for its maiden journey this morning and found its leaking almost as bad as it was before. Other than the things I've mentioned, what else could cause this leak? Starting to wonder if it's a rear main seal (in addition to my valley leaks i fixed).

In the photo is the area where the leak is coming down.
