Can’t get enough out of the exhaust note out of the 4.6

So for the rear most know we can use the moog cc501s for perfect rear fitment from like early year gm cars

But fronts not so much because for the fronts not many good options we have the cc80551 from the rear of the 2002-05 explorer but it’s not perfect people still cut the fronts with those

I want to avoid cutting

Then I thought why not just grab a set of rear lowering springs from the explorer not a stock replacement and I found the belltech 5310(I think not 100 percent sure if that’s the exact one) but it’s a 2.5 inch drop for the explorer rear some one tried the belltech fronts and it did not work but I was mot able to find anyone trying the rear lowering springs for an explorer because if oem replacement explorere springs fit why would lowering ones not work ?

That’s just my thought process a 3.5 inch drop might be excessive because 2.5 inch drop from the oem explorers high which is a 1 inch drop on the panther platform coming out to a total of 3.5 inches but if there is a less aggressive lowering spring for the explorer why would it not work? It’s same top and bottom mounting points and most the time side width is also the same

I consider perfect fitment to be tire to fender I would not mind the 3.5 inch drop but I’d have to find something for the rears then cuz the rear would be sitting higher then the front

I want to lower my Camry but I don’t know how much is too much for this platform

Please people with lowered Camrys tell me how low you are and how’s the experience I am debating 2 inch drop but that might be way too much

I will be running 17x8 inch wheels et30 stretched 205 50 17 or 245 45 17, 205 if I want to keep my mpg and 245 if I want grip have not decided yet

I looked at some other posts and people with a 1 inch or 1.5 inch drop already looked pretty low, in the photos and in real life that gap between th tire and fender is extremely noticeable I feel like it’s a monster truck.

And for those saying why on a Camry, it’s my car and I have others that I’d much rather drive for comfort but I like this because I can push it to its limit without reaching mine fun reliable car that never fails me, plus it’s a really good looking car why not make it look better

As you can see in the pics I originally had the steelies swapped em out for some wheels I had laying around but still 16 inch too small so I got some 20x9 et 37 wheels but where way to over sized in my opinion and still not flush fitment so I threw on som other 20x8 et 35s I had and those hat pretty good fitment but still I think 20s are oversided for this platform I ai generated the last photo on to my car and decided I want those wheels they are 17s et 30s they will have abit of poke out if I lower the car it’ll give me enough negative camber for them to tuck in, I don’t think I can run the 20s any longer they keep on looking bigger and bigger the longer I look at them.

Cars dirty don’t mind it it’s pollen season so I can’t be bothered cleaning it and sorry for bad mic quality it’s windy

Front mount intake(looks like 2 cuz of reflection in the chrome but it’s one)

Sounds amazing and it’s super loud from the front

And don’t worry I’m going to retune it for the intake so I don’t lean it out or anything I have a custom tune on it

The whole intake cost me 10 bucks(might cost you guys 50-100 cuz I got the intake for free off of a friends bmw he didn’t need it anymore) if anyone wants to try to do it too I can post a tutorial but tbh it’s not a high quality system at all, all I was worried about while making it was it being air tight, which it is

If anyone is curious about the exhaust it’s a custom exhaust it has cats , resonators, and mufflers, it’s a 2.5 inch x pipe

I love the way it looks and sounds what do you guys think ?
