five radio theremin *HELPP*

Normally theremins contain two radios. No more, no less. And yeah, I know it's technically possible to make a one-radio theremin... but that's not why I'm here.

See, I went down a bit of a rabbit hole and found this website where someone made a theremin using three radios. I thought that was pretty cool, but... just three? I mean, I've heard of that several times before.

So naturally my next thought was, what if someone made a four-radio theremin?

After a while of digging around the internet, I actually found a post on r/CircuitBending where the OP had built a theremin out of four AM radios. The only explanation they gave was:

>

Which got me thinking...

Just for the love of the game, kind of like how mathematicians study pure math or knot theory just because it's interesting, would it be possible to build a five-radio theremin? Or six? Or even more? I'm not asking because it would necessarily be useful. I just think it's a fascinating idea, and I'm curious if there's some theoretical limit that makes it impossible, or if it's just something nobody's really bothered to try.

Basically, before I waste my time (and probably my money), is there any reason a five-or-more-radio theremin couldn't work?

The Elder Scrolls Skill / Leveling / Skill tree help

So I'm new to DMing and honestly pretty new to D&D as a whole, so sorry if this is a dumb question.

I've been really into Skyrim and The Elder Scrolls universe for a while now, and I wanted to try mixing some of those ideas into a D&D campaign. Without going too deep into the lore, the campaign is going to take place on an island northwest of High Rock, set hundreds of years in the past during a time when the Dwemer were becoming more technologically advanced and expanding into the northern parts of Tamriel. I'm still figuring out a lot of the worldbuilding, so if anyone has ideas or suggestions for that, I'd love to hear them.

The main thing I'm trying to figure out is how I could implement Skyrim's skill leveling system into D&D. One of my favorite things about Skyrim is how skills improve as you use them, and how leveling those skills unlocks perks in skill trees. I feel like that progression system is a huge part of what makes Skyrim fun, and I'd really like to capture some of that feeling in my campaign.

The problem is that I have no idea how to make it work alongside D&D's classes and normal leveling system without it becoming overpowered or way too complicated. Has anyone ever tried something like this before, or does anyone have ideas on how I could pull it off?

Any help would be appreciated, and if you have any worldbuilding ideas for a Dwemer-focused campaign, I'd love to hear those too.

The Elder Scrolls VII: Legacy

Hey, so I've been thinking about how I wish there was a skyrim sequel that takes place a few hundred years afterwards. So instead of being kinda mid-evil themed, it would be industrial themed (271 years after Skyrim)..

I haven't really gotten into the story much (yet) but I think it should be called "The Elder Scrolls VII: Legacy" and it's generally takes place an Helgen, but don't worry, there will be PLENTY to do because the old city has been built on top by a new, huge, very popular city, but why's it popular?? Well let's just say a couple of organizations have started separate mines.. and they're slowly uncovering the legacy of Helgen and the companies make several VERY bad decisions, what do they cause..? Well, that's what I need your help for, I've got only so much of the story thought out, any recommendations would help a ton, like here are some examples: building ideas, city layout, specific people, groups/clans, sidequests, main quests, maybe in the future they found new technologies for magic.. etc.. etc..

Anyways, here's what I've got for how the game starts and how you'll get to customize your character, (equivalent to the "Hey you, you're finally awake." And the "Who, are you?"):

Opening Cutscene:

The game starts with you already in an inn sitting at the bar just kinda waking up into the moment, and you can’t move yet so you just look around while people are talking and you slowly start to understand what’s going on from what you hear. When the screen pans right, there’s this bartender talking to a young guy who’s basically saying he’s going to Helgen mainly for money because the mine is hiring but also because there’s a festival coming up and it sounds fun, and it kinda shows Helgen is like this busy growing place now. Then your screen pans left and there’s an elderly couple arguing, one of them is like really impressed with how much Helgen and everything around it has changed, but the other one keeps saying that like yeah it’s impressive but like almost 300 years is a long time so of course things are gonna change, which kinda hints at how long it’s been since the old Helgen stuff. Then you stand up and spin around on the stool and start slowly walking toward the exit and as you pass by you see this group of three friends, one works in the mine, one is just a normal guy, and the other is an archer, and they’re talking about how the mine is hiring a lot of people and how the pay is actually decent but the miner guy says he doesn’t really like working there and it’s kinda dangerous or just not fun, and they all kinda laugh at him but in a way where he’s laughing too even though he feels a bit left out.

Character customization (still can't move or look around so it's still a cutscene kinda):

After that you walk out of the inn and you end up heading to the train station (passing thru an industrial remake of Markarth) where you need a travel card to get on, and the clerk asks for your ID so you pull out this little bag you have and take out your card, but instead of it just being normal info it’s like blank sections you fill in so that’s where you basically create your character, like name, race, appearance and stuff, and once that’s done you board the train and sit down and while it starts moving you open up this job application for Helgen because you’re going there for work, and that’s where you get to write more personal stuff about your character like why you’re going, what you used to do, and what kind of person you are, so it doesn’t feel like a menu but more like your actual paperwork in the world (depending on how you answer the questions, certain NPCs will act/treat you differently), and when you finish it, the conductor comes by, checks your ticket, and then you look out the window as Helgen comes into view for the first time as you arrive.

So uhhh, if yall could help out at least a little, I'd seriously thank you SO MUCH 😭🙏
