Should I be expecting behavioral issues?

My girlfriend and I adopted a kitten from a friend who got the kitten from an abusive situation. He was 4 weeks old when we got him he’s 6 weeks old now. We do have other cats but he’s been quarantined until vaccinated under the recommendation of our vet. Should we be worried about any developmental issues from not being around other cats? We weren’t sure about when the last time he spent any time with other cats was since he was the only cat seen and rescued. We’ve been doing what we can to teach him about playing gently but we’re not sure what else to do. He gets vaccinated on Tuesday and we plan to start their introductions then. Also his eyes seem a bit small.

Poster Age: 23

Country: USA

Vet info: eg: He sees the vet Tuesday

Main Issue: Not been socialized with other cats and worried about introductions

Cat Age: 6 weeks

Cat Sex + neuter info: Male Unfixed

Financial situation: I don’t think a vet trip is necessary but I can afford it

Bonded Pair death

My girlfriend had two dogs who lived together for 3 years. From what I’ve heard of their past together they’ve been inseparable. The little one was always following the big one around like a little shadow. When the little one got locked in a room without her bestie while they went out for dinner she tore up the carpet (she shows other signs of separation anxiety). And when the little one went in for emergency surgery the big one stopped eating and became very depressed. Last month the bigger one lost a her battle with cancer and it’s taken a toll on the little one. She’s been urinating in the house more frequently since she doesn’t want to be in the back yard without her bestie (we’ve largely resolved this). Shes been sleeping under the bed. Shes been bolting out the front door if she suspects we’re leaving or barking and whining when we aren’t there. My girlfriend is unemployed for the time being but we’re worried about the dog being stressed about a schedule change once she gets back to work combined with moving shortly after causing her a lot of stress. We’ve tried opening the room where the cats stay but she’ll get into the cat litter. And the biggest issue is she’s refusing food. She’s been on a diet but she’ll refuse to eat for an entire day which isn’t healthy. We’ve tried adding mix ins to her food to temp her and it rarely works. Any advice to help get her appetite back and help her adjust to being an only dog would be appreciated

Not terribly good at keeping the plants alive but the moss growing off the drift wood is my pride and joy

I thought all the Java moss died off almost a year ago then I noticed this starting to grow and I’m so proud of how it turned out
