Toning Orange

Put ginger over my dark blonde hair at the beginning of the year and now I’m trying to tone it out. Would a toner cut the orange? Thinking 7NA or 7NN? Not trying to be a platinum blonde or anything, just trying to tone the orange out without bleaching or going brunette. Thoughts?

thanks (:

Blue Shampoo on henna’d hair?

I am curious if anyone has used color/toning shampoo to tone henna? My hair is dark blonde and I used henna (light mountain red) to dye it ginger at the beginning of the year, and now I’m trying to get back to my roots color by toning the ginger out. I’ve already used a mix of conditioner and blue demi-permanent dye and it worked almost completely except some of my hair turned green 🙈 so I am considering a shampoo now for the rest of it.

thoughts?

PAIS and TRT?

EDIT- I have been informed that people with PAIS do not develop uteruses, so that’s no longer an option. However I forgot to mention I suspect I have ovotestes which as I understand it can also mess with androgens- - any helpful comments about that are welcome also (:

I have been confirmed intersex by my doctor because of hormone imbalances and genital ambiguity however I am still in the process of figuring out my variation. Originally I assumed CAH until I went on testosterone hrt as a gender-fluid person. It has been over a year since I started hrt and I have seen such minimal changes it‘s as if nothing has changed. My T levels remained the same. Around 4 months ago my doctor upped my dosage which increased the noticeable changes by around only 10-15%. This has lead me to researching PAIS which I’ve realized aligns far closer with my intersex-related symptoms and experiences. . and also could potentially explain why testosterone hasn’t done anything for me. :( Before upping my dosage I did experience excessive T aromatisation which made me gain a bunch of weight and start having menstruation (which I normally don’t) among other miserable things which have also only subsided by around 10%. I feel now more ’gendered’ than I started. The effects aromatisation had on my body left me feeling and looking more like a ‘girl’ than I ever did before, temporarily eradicating any sense of androgyny.

My next appointment is this week.

My question is, however, to anyone who knows more about PAIS or how intersex conditions interact with HRT than I do, could what I’ve explained be connected to PAIS? Hope all of this made sense. So so exhausted and just wanting to either go back to ‘normal’ or finally see some improvement on HRT.

Thanks (:
