PSA About cookie prompts to avoid ads

Many might already know this, but on certain cookie prompts (I don't know if they're regional, I'm based in Germany) there's an option to go to "Vendor settings" at the very bottom. If you go there and manually disable the 50+ vendors' "legitimate interest" checkbox, you are able to decline basically any tracking that you can do something about. In some cases this reduces your value as an ad target so much that the game might reduce or outright disable forced ads for you.

2D Multiplayer Platformer speedrunning game

I played it i believe sometime near 2020 or before. It involved taking 4 or 5 players into a lobby, giving them one of the random stages, and letting them try to set a time for like 5 minutes, after which the person with the best time would get the victory.

The only controls were tap and hold to jump forwards and/or walljump. All players were blue squares with eyes, and the customization options involved animal tails and ears.

Please lmk thanks

[Android] [2020?] One button 2D multiplayer parkour speedrunning game with blue squares as players.

It involved 4-5 players (i believe) being matched up and placed into the same 2D parkour map to try and reach the finish line in as short of a time as possible. At the end of the countdown, whoever got the fastest attempt won. The characters were neon blue squares with eyes and customization included animal ears. The only control(s) were tap to jump, hold to jump longer. The artstyle was incredibly simple, sharp lines, no pixel art. The map was, as i remember, also dark blue.

Why is the brawlhalla community notica ly saltier than other fighting games?

Brawlhalla by far has the most vitriol filled, salty, and genuinely angry fanbase when compared to basically any other fighting game. I was wondering why that is because some things that we do don't really happen in other communities whose games fit the same criteria.

We make names for people who play in a style that we don't like, see "Weapon Hogger", "Passive Player", "(Sig) Spammer" etc. . Also interesting is that the game isn't really THAT unbalanced compared to said other fighting games; Street fighter 3rd strike has historically one of the most laughably shitty balancing across characters, imagine if a tournament had 76% lucien players and ulgrim had a ranked winrate of 15%. It is that bad, yet nobody really calls names like "Yun/Chun li abuser".

When it comes to mechanics, those games have their fair share of bullshit too. Street fighter 6 had its throw loops (in short: when you put your opponent in a place where it makes sense to only block, after which you're able to constantly throw them) but nobody called people out individually and instead focused on getting the game changed to fix the issue. Also note; basically everyone did this shamelessly and nobody acted like it was some forbidden unholy tech like sig spamming or something.

That's my question; why do brawlhalla players get mad at players for doing (unfun/perceived to be unfair) things that the game itself encourages through its mechanics, instead of calling out the mechanics itself that lead to said unfun techniques being prevalent?

looking for extremely elaborate sci-fi looking skin

I want a skin that looks like what the average 2000s director thinks space travel interfaces will look like in the far future. I need it to look so unnecessarily elaborate and complex that when a nonplayer looks at my screen they need to think that it takes 40 hours to learn to press a button in this game. Thank you

can red madness work without pyroblast and relic of prog

i am very broke and i have to play mono red (not related to budget concerns). I can buy it for fairly cheap if i skip on the relic and the blast effects. I know the blast effects are irreplaceable but is there maybe a budget option to relic?

looking for cod style "default" FPS game

I like the gameplay of COD where it's just a bunch of people mindlessly deathmatching with a fixed loadout for a few minutes. No objective, no midgame gearing up like in Quake, just pure dumb no-brain DM. I used to play XDefiant when it was alive but now it's gone. As for why I'm not just playing COD, i do not have that much money.
