It struggles to render properly for YouTube and freezes. It works fine for YT on the Roku stick but seems like a lot of money to spend to not have it work as well as a $29 stick. Super happy with everything else.

I’m considering the possibility of exchanging it. I mean, I love the TV, but I do feel like this is sort of unacceptable. I would even be willing to spend a little more on an 8 or other.

What do y’all think?

Edit: YouTube TV. Not regular YT. And this is our go to for regular TV watching.

Bought one sight unseen and never test ridden. I’m coming from 20 years on my FJR and the Wing generally exceeds my expectations.

I’m impressed with how the combination of lower seat height and lower center of gravity make a significantly heavier bike feel lighter.

The difference between riding modes is REAL. Touring mode and Sport mode absolutely feel like two different bikes in a very good way.

The engine is super smooth and the DCT shifts flawlessly. The only drawback to the fully automatic VS the “FJR AE” that I have is that there’s no technology built in (yet) to intuitively down-shift before a turn but thankfully, you can just use the paddle shifter to do so.

Although I’m grateful to have the AirPlay, I did not know it isn’t a touch screen which fees pretty antiquated and cumbersome. Hopefully I’ll get used to it. I also don’t have a phone mount yet so that will help.

I have the Airbag version which was really more a function of it just being available in the color I wanted with one. I have mixed feelings about the benefit of an air bag on a motorcycle but I’m DEF upset that this version has NO usable glove box nor charger up front. For a bike with fairings this big, this is damn near unacceptable to me. Hopefully I’ll find a solution that works well but c’mon Honda, this should be a no-brainer.

I am surprised the Gold Wong feels noticeably less powerful than the FJR. This was more of a reminder how impressive the Yamaha is in that regard as it’s not like I feel the Wing isn’t fast enough. It’s amazing how it can be almost 500 CC’s bigger and produce fewer HP. Although, it definitely does strike a great balance of being nimble yet feeling more planted in a strong wind plus the low COG makes leaning effortless and really feel “planted” for lack of a better word. Also, I’m only 5’7” and only getting shorter in recent years. My inseam is only 30” and I can tell you it feels like I grew three inches on this thing. It’s slightly lower but so much less top heavy that at a stop it actually feels lighter not a couple hundred lbs heavier. I did experiment with leaning it close to the point of no return and damn, once you cross over you can DEF feel it but hopefully I will avoid that!

Overall, I am VERY happy and grateful and it will definitely check all the important boxes I was looking for and a few extra!!!

I thought this was pretty funny. Amazon offering “subscribe and save” on Taom V10. I mean, how often would you need it? Once every 6 months? Once a year? 🤣
