FOMO! Supercells classic rug pull!

I’m honestly getting tired of the Clash of Clans balancing cycle at this point.

Every single update follows the exact same pattern:

Release new troop/equipment.

Make it insanely strong so everyone rushes to unlock it.

Players spend money/resources because of FOMO.

Nerf it weeks/months later.

Repeat.

And now we’ve got ANOTHER massive round of nerfs coming in June. The Dragon Duke, Sky Wagon, Rocket Backpack are all due to be nerfed.

Any new meta that emerges must be subdued immediately by Supercell. We must only have the YouTuber classic 50 different troop combos and endless guides to play this unique concoction that barely gets 3 stars. sKiLL iSsUE gEt gUD¡

So what exactly are players supposed to think here? Because it genuinely looks like content is intentionally released OP to drive engagement/spending before getting “balanced” afterwards.

And don’t give us the “we’re monitoring performance” line every single time.

You’re a multi-million dollar company. Why does it constantly feel like the live playerbase is the actual test server?

If creators/YouTubers are the main source of pre-release feedback and these updates STILL launch OP over and over again, then clearly the testing process is not working.

The most frustrating part is the constant rug-pull feeling.

People invest time, ores, magic items, books, medals, and real money adapting to the new meta… then here comes “balancing” and it’s never immediately upon release to show genuine error noooo no no… after weeks/months so they can “gAtHER dATA” like it wasn’t obvious on day one and you feel like this is what they intended so you might as well get onboard and spend those ores.

Giant Arrow nerf

Fire Heart nerfed

Dragon Duke nerfed

Sky Wagon nerfed

Dragon Rider nerfed

Rocket Backpack nerfed

Air meta getting hammered

Meanwhile I’m sure they’re already “tEsTiNg” MORE epic equipment and “meta-changing gameplay” before the dust has even settled from the last batch.

At some point it stops feeling like balancing and starts feeling like manufactured FOMO.

I don’t mind balance changes when something is genuinely broken long-term. What I do mind is this constant cycle of hyping then nerfing.

Why does X not load an entire profile?

Seen a tweet dated 01/06/2025

Clicked the profile and wanted to see what else did they tweet around that time but the profile loads up to 29/01/2026.

Why can’t I view further tweets? Is there a workaround or is this intended?

Thanks

Once someone leaves prison, what job options do they have when the majority of employers have a mandatory DBS check?

Was speaking to my family member who went to prison years ago. She is currently jobless as she went abroad to take care of funeral arrangements of a relative so they terminated her employment.

She’s pretty gutted and emotional and says due to her record it’s impossible to get a job as she has been trying for years previously. None of us know what she had done but I’m assuming the worst even if she is tame and extremely chilled.

I was wondering where can I point her to? She won’t speak to us about it or any family member for that matter so it hard to advise her.

So I got the original pair and they have shrunk over time but are still oversized but good for me.

I got the baya ones today and I got an exact size plus a size up.

Both are smaller somehow than the originals and I’m worried they may shrink or may not.

The exact size is considerably smaller than the originals but an exact size to what I want (if they don’t shrink they would be awesome), but the size up is slightly bigger but not the size of the originals somehow as those are still bigger.

What to do.

England

Received a fact finding letter for apparently breaking companies rules.

Rule that was broken is running early. I work on public transport.

Company’s systems show I ran early for about 10 minutes which I do not recall happening.

I checked online for my service history (that particular route that I was driving).

The online data suggests what I was thinking, I was running a few minutes late (3) and was not running early as they say. Late is acceptable as apart from deserting service it’s understood as being safe, traffic, busy or many reasons and they can’t tell you to “speed up”. Running early is where they assume no traffic at best but also speeding, missing stops, detouring and things along those lines.

Is it possible that I write down a statement hand it over and maintain silence or ask for it to be written and respond rather than trying to catch me out verbally (they have a history of this unfortunately).

On the company’s system (evidence handed to me with the meeting details), one stop says running early 10 minutes the very next which is 100m away is running late in line with the online tracker of 3 minutes late overall. My best theory is the gps timestamp is incorrect for the first stop and the second stop is correct.
