Muwannis - Life goes on and on

Hey everyone!

Here’s my track "Life Goes On and On", a synth-driven indie pop song.

My writing process:

My typical approach is to start with a melody or a chord progression and lay down the entire shell of the track first. By building the whole structure from start to finish early on, I avoid getting bogged down in tiny details that usually keep a song from ever getting finished. Once the framework is solid, I flesh out the rest.

What I’d love feedback on:

Production & Mix: How does the overall production sound to your ears?

Vibe & Structure: What’s your take on the overall feel and pacing?

Strengths & Weaknesses: What stands out as working well, and what could be improved?

Comparisons: What artists or sounds does this bring to mind for you?

Thanks for taking the time to listen! Any feedback is much appreciated.

My daughter made a short video for my track, and it turned out accidentally Lynchian

My daughter decided to make a YouTube Short for a track I created. I didn't give her much direction, but the end result gave me some serious David Lynch / Twin Peaks vibes.

There's a scene where she had me walk up to a blackcurrant bush in the garden, pick a berry, and eat it. Right as I put it in my mouth and chew, she pixelated my face. The combination of mundane suburban nature, strange surreal actions, and sudden digital distortion felt straight out of a dream logic sequence.

Thought I’d share it with people who appreciate that specific unsettling, surreal atmosphere.

Curious to hear what you guys think!
