Winter walking

I’ll start with maybe a sillier question! For those who live in areas with unfortunate winters, how do you go about walking? I know I’ll find out when it comes up but since my other questions are in theme, I figured it wouldn’t hurt to ask. When the snow is plowed/deep for example, where do you let your dog do their business? Like, is it a faux pas when your dog lets out a pee in the middle of the sidewalk? Do you wear headlamps in the early morning and night?

My other questions are more about spoo durability. I’m wanting to do a bit of a Miami cut because despite splurging on a $300 dryer, I still haven’t mastered my efficiency. But would that disturb the natural winter coat in a way where even proper jackets wouldn’t be enough? In either case, I’d love some jacket/layers recommendations, especially since it’s hard to find one with the right proportions. My spoo is very greyhound shaped.

Outdoor temperatures in the winter here average:
-15°C to -25°C (5°F to -13°). It can get down to between -30°C and -40°C (-22 °F to -40 °F). The temps that are far too cold, it will be strictly in and out potty breaks.

Lastly, I know many favour the mushers paw stuff, and I have some for the days where boots may not be necessary, but I keep my dogs feet clean/shaved, and couldn’t imagine it would feel great to have bare palms on the snow. I like the idea of the suspender style boots, so then I don’t have to dry them properly after possible deep snow encounters, and I wanted to hear your suggestions on weather or not you recommended them. I keep seeing the Canada pooch ones on marketplace, and I was wondering if maybe it was because dogs tend to not agree with them?

Anyways thanks for reading! And thank you in advance for your replies :)

EDIT: Just want to add a note that snow for us will come in about two months (bleh), and Im hoping I can get buy some gear before prices are hiked up!!

Anyone take a LOW dose of Danazol?

Bonus points if you have been on both metformin and danazol at same time (I am to start both).

I see a lot of posts and comments on Reddit but it’s mostly for much higher doses, and it’s been making me a bit anxious about side effects. Especially weight gain, since I’ve already been struggling with weight (hence the metformin)

Is it normal for a young dog to tend to sit with one knee out?

My dog is around 15 months old, I was wondering if this is normal since he’s maybe still a bit awkward? But it always tends to be on one side. He doesn’t limp up the stairs, and he doesn’t hop when he runs. But when he runs sometimes I feel like his front legs are angled to the side.

He also has a small rib that pokes out on that side but it doesn’t seem to hurt him when I press on it.

I‘ll of course bring this up to the vet next visit but since it doesn’t seem urgent I wanted to hear your thoughts!
Thank you

How to lighten brown highlighted hair to a light brown?

Roots virgin, the mid’s base was virgin but slightly lightened with the toner 7 months ago, and ends have some Demi dye from years ago (not concerned, waiting to cut them off). I want to lighten my root and base 2 shades, so I know I’ll likely need a bleach, but how do I go about that without over processing the highlights? The highlights at my nape lifted more, so they are platinum. Do I have to fill the hair first ? And also please lmk what products to use. I was thinking a 7N or 7B , but I wasn’t sure if it would pull too warm without an ash, but didn’t want the highlights to go muddy. I don’t mind if the highlights get lost or if they peak thru in the final result btw.

Note: you may not be able to tell from the photo but trying to separate the brown from the blonde would be too difficult as they are a lot of blonde strands
