What will happen in Illinois if the Supreme Court strikes down PICA?

Genuine question because I’m very curious about the implications of this.

If the Supreme Court rules against the PICA laws and the AWB in 2027 what are the next steps?
Will we just be able to buy the weapons previously banned?

What happens to the records of people who were forced to register their grandfathered in weapons with the ISP?

What laws will Illinois try to pass to circumvent the ruling, because you know they will.

Will guns like AR15s, AKs, and other weapons just be available to purchase? Or will you have to buy them from out of state while stores restock?

And also, what do you think is the honest likelihood of the laws being struck down?

I’m just curious because I’m not super knowledgeable on what the actual process would be like.

Which is the more White Sox way to play? Blowing an opponent out one day and then barely winning by a run the next day? Or Destroying a team in game 1 and then getting destroyed the next game?

Fair price for a fuel pump replacement?

Hey guys, I got a 2004 Chevy Blazer and the fuel pump went bad on it unexpectedly. I do most of the maintenance myself at home because it’s really simple to work on, however the fuel pump on these things are a pain in the ass to get to. You have to drop out the fuel tank and it’s not something I can do in my garage. A shop I’ve gone to before said it’d probably be around $900 to get it in and replace it and while it seemed a bit high, the car doesn’t start right now so I figured I’d bite the bullet and have it towed in.

Today I just got word that the estimate was around $1800 because a few straps were rusted and needed to get replaced too. That honestly seems ridiculous. This is a good shop I’ve used before and they’ve always been fair, but that just seems crazy.

Is that a fair price? And if not, what is?
