Audiobook chapters repeating
Hi, I am an audiobook listener and always get my 15 hours out of Spotify (which I have never used for music and am not very familiar with, got it for my kids). The last couple of months I’ve had a problem where suddenly the audiobook will just repeat one chapter over and over instead of moving on to the next. I tried contacting CS last time and got frustrated trying to make them understand the issue. I deleted and reinstalled the app and that fixed it. Now it’s doing it again and I’m wondering if there’s an actual fix? Again, I’m not super familiar with the app controls but I don’t have the repeat button selected as far as I can tell. Help!
Help choosing primer, please?
Hi, I'm planning to paint some repurposed wall paneling and kitchen cabinets. I had been planning to use BIN as I'm sure there's been smoke exposure etc. in my paneling/cabinet's previous lives. I don't know the type of wood, but the paneling has a real wood veneer and the cabinets have some kind of glossy finish over wood.
When I was browsing at the hardware store I noticed a product I didn't know about, BIN Synthetic shellac. Online searches also pointed me towards Stix as a possible better solution. Ventilation isn't a problem, I can leave windows and doors open.
Between regular BIN, synthetic shellac BIN, and Stix, is there a clear best option? Also planning to clean with TSP and do a light sanding. Thank you for any advice!
What’s going on with these spots on my wall?
My house was built in the 1920s, walls are plaster and lathe. I painted the living room dark teal about five years ago. For the last year I’ve watched these little white spots get bigger - at first I thought I’d missed spots painting but they’re definitely growing. They are located at either end of a step down into the living room and nowhere else. The wall feels solid and sturdy behind them. No dust or debris has fallen from them. There’s no pipes behind the wall. I’m terrified it’s termite activity. The floors were refinished a few years ago and the spots that are white are the only place the floor sealer contacts the painted wall so I guess that’s another possible reason for the discoloration? I don’t want to just paint over it if there’s something serious going on. Any help?
