Im not really sure what colours to use for stuff like the iron jaw or what to paint onto the choppa head.

I want this model to be badmoons-esque, atleast with some stuff being black and yellow i.e. the mutilator squig: Blasta (the troggoth) is painted predominantly black asides the stomach and the cracks in his body as i wanted the power source from the kmb to be his feral fury and not something simle like a battery. But his stomach armour is gonna be yellow (yes ik its pink but i kinda want to do what i did with my goliath trukk where its a very splochy yellow) the only exception to this limitation is the modified kmb or as im dubbing it from now on the Pulsa Blasta (basically think a kmb and make it a close ranged explosive shotgun) cuz even badmoons could use a little luck, especially since we're talking a grot army.

Thats all i really gotta say, im loving how this model is turning out.

This kitbash was surprisingly easy, just the kmb from the morkanaut for the thump gun, (my thought process for how it shoots is less like a kmb and more like a close ranged heat blast, like the plasma gun in doom eternal) the snotlings came from the crudcreek nose pickers, the axe head was from a megaboss axe, the bullets on the jaw and the dead boy came from the old boyz kit, and the grot came from the runtherd and grechen box.

So my 1000 point revolution is almost fully built, all i need now is another unit of runt boyz and (the topic of this post) the beastboss on squigosaur.

There is only one problem, it has been out of stock both online and in stores for months, so i cant buy a bbs and just grot-ify it....

And then i found the breaka boss on mirebrute troggoth. The y use the same 80mm base and they are about the same size and since the bbs in my list is my warlord, the kruleboy could just be a tall grot so all i'd really have to do is 40k it a little.

If there is anything i should add to grot-ify or 40k it that you think is a good idea, lmk.

Idk how it took me this long to remember that substeala wheelas existed and guess what, theyre the same base size as the wartrakk. And since the grots already kinda looks similar to 40k grots, all you would have to do in theory is make it look a bit more orky (scrap metal and looted bits) and add a gun and some rokkits and you have a wartrakk (2 if you decide to do the same with the second sunsteala in the box)

Pretty easy "conversion" (i just put the normal squig hoppers on squighog bases. Dw my beast snagga hobgrots will take a little more effort.) I was planning on 40k-ing them a little bit, but squighog boyz are already snakebites, which are primetive orks so i think theyre fine as is (this is code for i didnt have any rokkits left over and i didnt wanna run the risk of making them too big and thus handicapping myself.)

To make up for this being not very creative, i'll let you gitz decide what colour i should do them. Ive already done purple, yellow and a mix of blue and red.

This is the start of my 1000 point grot revolution list.

Right now i have the cawdor grots as boyz, my grot warboss kommisar hookgut, my grot-liath trukk, and my savage ork beast boss Orgob skull krusha, i also have some squigs that i plan on running as grots. most of these are not painted (as you can clearly see) but im working on it.

For anyone who's curious, this is my list:

Detachment: Warhorde

Characters:

• Beastboss on squigosaur (warlord, headwoppas killchoppa)

• Beastboss (follow me ladz)

• Warboss (attack squig, kustom choppa (may change out for a power klaw) and kustom shoota

• Weirdboy

Battleline:

• 10 beast snaggas

• 10 beast snaggas

• 10 boyz (1 rokkit launcha, 1 burna, 1 big shoota, kombi-skorcha)

• 10 boyz (1 rokkit launcha, 1 burna, 1 big shoota, kombi-skorcha)

Infantry:

• 10/11 gretchen (idk if they will have a runtherd when the codex comes out)

Mounted:

• 4 squighog boyz

• 1 wartrakk

Transport:

• trukk

All of this adds up to exactly 1000 points

I decided to make a second warboss using the aos megaboss, kommando big choppa, breaka boy boss nob head, mega nob power klaw and boss pole and a random shoota

So after making the DakkaSquig, i have been left with this one, and idk what to do with it. Ik i dont really wanna make a BBS or Moz, and dreads aren't really that good. Any help would be appreciated.

I haven't thought of a name for him yet so lmk what i should name him.

Also does anyone know the base size for the big boss?

So i made this a week or so back when i was drunk, and ive been thinking of what to make it into and how to do it.

So i ddi a little bit of looking around and i realised that mozrog skragbad/ beastboss on squigosaur is around the same height and base size as the big mek dakkarig. So i thought why not take that model, remove mozrog/the beastboss off the squigosaur, and put my beautiful monstrosity ontop to make a snakebite dakkarig.

Now normally, i wouldn't touch anything snakebites since to put it bluntly, why would i want boring, melee gitz on squigs when i could have more dakka and more frankly cooler stuff.

But since my army is part freeboota, part grot revolution, i think i can get away with having a dakka platform mounted on a squig.

Now the only question is, what else should i add? I know one of the thing i should add is obvious (more dakka) but im not sure what boxes to use for dakka and (more importantly) how would i attach it?

If you guys have any suggestions on what to add and how i should mount it, let me know.

I built this after a couple of whiskeys, and i genuinely have no clue what it is or what i am going for. Do you gitz have any ideas on what this could be?

The glowy bits used white ink and then tesseract glow. This is also the fastest mini ive painted so far

Should i have him leading normal gretchen or should i convert some squigs into gretchen?
