This might be the first time that the people saying 3.0 is dead are right

I was already struggling after last season with 3.0 but this season this season I've genuinely grown to fucking HATE 3.0. I switched to Ice bow (no Hero iwiz) yesterday and it genuinely feels like im playing a boosted deck, 3.0 is so fucking garbage right now its unplayable and it breaks my heart because of how much I loved that deck but also that most of my matchup knowledge (granted most of it is also interchangable with icebow) was for 3.0.

Why do anarchist, syndicalist, and other reformist tendencies keep plaguing revolutionary parties leading to their eventual capitulation to the Bourgeoisie?

I'm reviewing Dutt's work on Fascism and a general tendency I often hear much about is the plague of reformism over previously MLM parties and their eventual demise. In the case of early 20th Cen Italy the conditions for revolution seem quite ripe, the PSI had the dominant vote, combined with Italian Labor Party, highest membership in the country, land seizures and mass strikes were already in place. Just exactly what is it that these people are allowed to exist in revolutionary parties and worse with a sect of influence. My assumption would be that a lesson was learned about accepting reformists in the party after the Reggio Emilia congress and in the future, party membership and leadership would be quite more discriminate and now allow it to be corrupted. Is this just a lesson that had to be learned in early revolutionary practice?

Anyone BMO qual'd got any list of most useful knots they know?

I'm a PRes Cpl and I know I'll never see a CFTPO for a decent course with my name on it so I'm just looking for a list of knots to learn and apply in the field when I can. Even if not, I'd still want to learn some new skills and see what I can do with them. Adjacent information regarding Mountain ops is also welcome. Thank you

Princess Celestia is Genuinely The Tytos Lannister of My Little Pony

TLDR at the end Celestia = Tytos, Twilight = Tywin

The sheer incompetence and recklessness of this would be princess is palpable, and her reliance on her subordinates to handle the turbulent matters of state reveals an incredible weakness in leadership. Her failure to fully deal with and defeat her sister Luna once and for all, led to her return to equestria from the moon to wreak havoc on the realm. The full range of implications needs to be understood here, the absence of the sun would mean the destruction of all the crops and a failure to sustain any life in equestria. This is an extinction level which would directly result in the death of millions of ponies and animal life. The terror that Luna wrought over Celestia's subjects was fully avoidable if she just did her job, the only excuse you could possibly scrape is that this was an event of professional development for the Mane 6, but tell me what sane leader would rely on the hopes and prayers that their subordinates would be able to handle it. In addition, this getting out to the public would be an absolute scandal; to be a citizen pony of equestria and know that your princess, allowed such terror even if brief to be inflicted on you for the reason of "training the mane 6" would immediately break my faith in her. This is equal to when Cersei blew up the great sept of baelor, this event would unquestionably have led to rebellion, and it would entirely be Celestia's fault.

The Changling invasion: When Celestia confronts Queen Chrysalis and gets bodied, her response effectively collapses until the Elements and Cadance's power turn the situation around. This is your queen???? This is the pony entrusted to keep the citizens of equestria safe???? You fight a single time, lose then roll over and die? Given that Celestia has centuries of experience and possesses extraordinary magical power, her inability to prevent the invasion is one thing; to be fair Chrystallis fed a lot of Love off shining armour and if theres no limit to her absorbtion then I guess I can understand but her apparent lack of a contingency plan for an enemy capable of infiltrating the royal capital is another, or even stepping up as a leader and fulfilling your duties til your death. Celestia isn't just some pegasus, the lives of literal millions of ponies are in her hands, and these failures need to be checked.

I could go on but I don't wanna write too much so I'll just add in one more tiny piece. Starlight Glimmer is the Mountain Gregor Clegane. She is the mad dog of Equestria and her blatant violation of magical principles, and the fact that she is capable of time manipulation and brought an ENTIRE town under her control should be grounds for execution. Starlight is far too much of a risk and broken cannon to be left to her own devices, yet she is still being protected and kept alive by celestia and twilight. Now who does this sound like....

And this really just is the utter failure that is Celestia: she is Tytos Lannister with a cutie mark. The rebellion of the Tarbecks and Reynes and the constant laughter and disrespect of House Lannister is exactly what Celestia has allowed in her own lands. They are laughing and calling her weak, and their all so painfully correct. Lady of the kingdom and protector of the realm, all the power in the world at her hands and none of the spine to use it when it actually matters. This washed princess lets Luna become Nightmare Moon, lets Chrysalis invade the realm and generally allows extinction level magical threats to repeatedly return, and then acts as though throwing Twilight and her friends at the problem is a solution. Tytos's great failure was believing that being a good man was enough to make him a good lord; Celestia makes the same mistake on a vastly greater scale, at the scale of Baelor the Blessed. If Celestia was queen in westeros the ironborn would own the seas, The North would still have a king, kingslanding would genuinely be getting sacked every other year and dear god forbid the rings that would run around her if Olenna or Tywin secured a royal marriage. I genuinely think her plan for dealing with the white walkers would be trying to talk the night king out of it. Someone who holds millions of ponies in her hands cannot afford to treat existential threats as exercises in character development. You don't gamble the crown and call it mentorship. Twilight becomes Tywin by necessity: the heir to the throne (lets be honest, NO ONE else is fit for the crown than her, and I don't even like twilight) who looks at Celestia's weak handed rule, the shame she brings upon the House of The Pegasus, sees the disasters it has enabled, and in anger but still love for her mentor/parent that discipline needs to be handed down to the realm. The only way for peace to be established is if the Honor of the house is restored, people respect the rule of the crown, and rebellion is violently put down at its inception. Too many beings do not fear the wrath of the crown, so many are just so comfortable raising an army and attempting to crush the Princess's peace. When the time comes and Twilight ascends the throne, she must establish one thing, she is not Celestia. Twilight needs her own Rains of Castamere.

TLDR: Celestia = Tytos, Twilight = Tywin. Starlight Glimmer is the Mountain in MLP and Twilight needs her own Rains of Castamere to establish discipline and peace in the realm.

Would it be possible to “jumpstart” hair growth with Minoxodil and wean off into healthier methods

Title. I’ve lost a significant amount of hair around my temples and the corners of my hairline receded about 2 inches over a year ago. Thankfully I grinded the hair loss to a halt last year through red light therapy, microneedling, Rosemary and some Inversion therapy. My hair is still technically improving and I’ve made some decent gains in hair growth since that time but nothing at all incredibly notable. I’ve heard the like of how reliable and relatively safe minoxidil is however, given that it is still a vasodilator, I don’t trust it long term for heart related reasons. However what I’m thinking of is using it as a jumpstart for growth alongside the other hair treatments I’ve mentioned for a short period of 3-5 months and weaning off entirely into the other methods I’m already doing and seeing moderate success with. I’m willing to accept moderate loss of what I’ve gained in that period from minoxidil, however would it be possible if I am diligent and disciplined with my other methods, that I could maintain a significant portion of what I do gain. The question is less so, “can I keep growing the hair I do gain” and more, yes I’m probably going to lose a good portion of what I gain but will I get to keep any of it? The studies I’ve seen that have tested for the effects of weaning off of minoxidil haven’t been done with an explicit attempt to maintain that hair through other methods. If you do know of any please do let me know thank you. For reference I am an early 20s man, not diagnosed (but I’ve seen my uncles on my moms side) Male Pattern Baldness at stage 2 on the Norwood scale. Thank you.

Quickest Way to Be Capable of Reading Academic Economic Papers

Hello! I'm trudging along this introduction to economics textbook and its one of the least interesting things I've ever read not because of disinterest in the field itself but the textbook and all the other intro to econ books I've found feel the need to make the same, redundant points and common sense definitions (demand schedule, timeline, comparative advantage, etc). Im 9 chapters in and I genuinely can't take it anymore, I almost have taken 0 notes because there is nothing worthy of having notes on. There isn't a single thing I've read so far that isn't total common sense and every subsection, the title and first sentence or two are all I've needed to grasp the concept. I initially thought this was just going to be the intial sections as an idiot proof foundation but I peeked 300 pages after into the latter half of the book and absolutely nothing has changed. I'm not a major in economics nor will I be participating in any conventional economics in the field, my area of study is in Social/Political Philosophy and Political Theory and I'm only trying to understand economics to be able to stack on top of my other reading and be capable of understanding Political Economy in international Trade. Most econ papers oriented around theory are fairly accessible if I just google the technical terms but ones oriented primarily around data are near impenetrable. I want to be able to evaluate method, understand the terminology, and be able to take this knowledge and adapt it into my main work. I don't have an issue with reading, or if its long, but the introductory work I've found online is far too slow and all seem to be made for highschoolers with absolutely no background. Again key emphasis on international trade. Is there an intermediary work out there? Thank you.
