I don’t have a car, walking isn’t an option because I work in an unsafe part of Detroit & public transport sucks.

I spend on average $20 each way(I only live 12 mins away), which is $240 a week(I have to work OT) or $960 a month which is more than 1 of my checks before taxes. It’s incredibly depressing to think that for everyday I work, I have to spend 2 hours worth of pay.

Anybody else in a similar situation?

It’s pretty common in my area to get matched with a driver that behaves inappropriately…for example I got into my Lyft the other day while wearing some shorts, nothing was hanging out because I was heading to work(at a warehouse) so nothing inappropriate.

This man proceeds to turn his head all the way to stare down at my crotch for whatever reason(and no he wasn’t turned around so that he could back out or anything like that), while making some comment that I couldn’t understand because of his accent.

He then asks me what time I get off work and if I usually take Lyft home…now I know some people do that so they can get a consistent customer but I can tell the difference between that and when someone is just being creepy.

He’s not the first man that has tried to figure out my work schedule either and again I know it’s common for Lyft drivers to do the whole under the table thing where the customer just pays them in cash, so they’ll ask people how often they use the service to see if that would benefit them but I could just tell that’s not why he was asking.

I’m a floater in AFE which means I go around covering andons for sort side and a lot of our sorters will just leave for the day without saying anything, which is an inconvenience not only for management(which I get most people don’t like them) but you’re also screwing over the other sorters too.

I don’t understand what’s so hard about saying “hey just letting you know I’m leaving out early”, it’s not like they can tell you no.

I haven’t had Sour Tangie in over 5 years and would love to find some flower that it’s either that exact strain, a strain crossed with it or just anything similar.

also I’d appreciate any other citrus based strains(preferably day time smoke)

Hello my bf(male) who is about to be 37 and was diagnosed about 5-6 years ago and it’s been a battle ever since, he’s been prescribed lisinopril but as far as diet goes, there’s still some unhealthy eating happening and I’m hoping I can get some ideas on what meals him or I can make, as well as snacks, which is my main concern.

He’s a gamer and has a habit to snacking while doing so and his main go to in the past was Doritos or other snacks heavy in sodium but that’s obviously not healthy for anyone but especially someone with hypertension.

I apologize if this isn’t the appropriate place to be asking this, I didn’t really see any other communities that are as active as this one.

It pisses me off when I go through the effort of making sure my walls and carts are stocked, just to get moved to somebody else’s walls who wasn’t doing shit all shift but messing around instead of keeping stuff stocked.

I don’t understand how I can keep 2-3 walls(which is 16-24 stations) stocked and clean market place but the other waterspiders who have less work can’t seem to get shit done.

I(31f) use to be a cheerleader, with a healthy body, full curly hair, thick eyebrows and nice teeth.

Now I feel sick all the time, my hair and eyebrows are thinning, my face is getting skinnier and skinnier due to all the fat and bone loss from having periodontal disease(which has also caused me to have several missing and decaying teeth), I’ve lost 30+lbs(unintentionally), and it’s causing me to have severe body and facial dysmorphia like I have no clue what I really look like.

If so, how do/did you like it?

I’m tired of spending $ at the vending machines and want to do a Costco/Sam’s club haul

give me some snack ideas please :)

I don’t know maybe I’m just more professional than most drivers but if I had to stop for gas on the way to picking someone up, I would message them “hi I apologize for the delay, I didn’t realize I was low on gas and need to make a quick stop, be there shortly” so my rider isn’t wondering why I haven’t moved in 5 minutes.

Or if someone leaves an item in my car which was most likely a mistake, I’m not gonna expect them to send me $100 on top of the $20 lost item of fee(if you live far I do think some gas $ would be fair but not $100).

also a lot of drivers need to stop acting like they can behave rudely, drive recklessly, etc as if they’re doing riders a “favor”…no you are providing a service that I paid for.

I’m 31 and I haven’t done any cheerleading in about 9 years and would really really love to start tumbling again.

I’m hoping someone on here can help point me in the direction of a gym that offers programs for adults in Metro Detroit :)

It’s probably just my anxiety and not wanting to be perceived lol but I don’t have a car so I have to get things delivered and it’s usually an every day or every other day thing, and I don’t know why but I feel like I’m some breaking some type of apartment etiquette by doing that.

I’ll tell them to leave it outside the building door and tell them not ring the buzzer so the sound doesn’t disturb my neighbors but every time I go to grab my stuff I feel like I’m being secretly being judged lol

before you drive there, call and make sure your total is correct.

I don’t know what’s going with their site but it’s not accurate and some stuff cost more than what they have it listed as.

I haven’t seen any posts yet and was wondering if anybody has tried it?

my(31f) boyfriend (36m) has high blood pressure, he’s also 6’2 and about 260-270 lbs and is trying to lose weight. I need some suggestions for meals I can make him that are healthy and filling.

Lately we’ve been making this pot meal with corn, carrots, green beans, black beans, potatoes, and some diced tomatoes with seasoning which is fairly cheap with each can(I try to get the no salt added ones) being under $1 and it’s typically enough for dinner and left overs for lunch.

I also work 60 hours a week so stuff that is easy to make is also more ideal but main focus is it being healthy for him.
