Idk why they are trying to spin it like they are doing a favor to the community, and not Sony/their own wallets lmao

some of these sentences are so laughable:
"So keep on liberating with your squad on a marathon grind, or even a full weekend of play." - yeah i love grinding d1 for SC for hours on end, praise AH!

"Keep earned rewards meaningful, so your Super Credits actually feel worth having." - SC unlocks me premium content that i would have to spend long time on or spend my irl money on. Those Warbands behind this shitty system gatekeeps me from not just cosmetics, but actual gameplay stuff.

"Cheaters have been a top topic in player feedback since launch" - besides trolls that cheat and ruined the game for everyone, many didnt mind about cheaters giving them free stuff as far as i know, especially SC.

"We'll keep listening and keep communicating openly as we continue to improve the game." - lol, lmao even

Personally, i never cheated in game. It would be nice to have a good SC grinding system, where you get SC by playing the game on harder diffs rather than D1's.

AH please, remove elevated overseers from the game (or nerf them to the ground)

Elevated Overseer must be the most BS unit in the game and it's not even funny.

I need to rant about this coz, since Appropriators appeared on Sangis, I have been trying to somehow enjoy this sub-faction again, but my entire enjoyment is ruined insantly by these fuckers.

Lets break down these broken, OP and annoying bitches:
- For a unit that appears all the time, everywhere, they are too strong
- They have lots of armor/hp and this makes killing them hard, specially if you are busy running from other squid units (voteless, obtruders, veracitors etc)
- Their weapons shoot really often, with lots of bullets and deal lots of damage
- They fucking fly

If we think about any other unit, from other factions, that might be similar to elevated cunts, I can think of 3: Stalkers, Heavy Devastator and Conflagration Devastators.. and i still think non of them compare truly.
- Am not really an expert on bugs ngl, but Stalkers appear a lot less for how annoying they are, and you can get rid of them by finding their nests. Not sure about Predator strain since i never played it.
- Heavy Devastators WERE really strong, but since then been heavy nerfed. And even before some nerfs, you can counter them by just taking cover and hitting an easy headshot since they are slow.
- Confagration Devastator is BS coz of its BS range, but they are as slow as Heavies, and still can hs them quite easily.

Meanwhile Eleveated Overseers take the strongest traits of those mentioned above and don't give a shit. They constantly fly and chase you, like dogs and you will never escape them, kinda like stalkers. They shoot so much and deal so much damage, fighting with them is just a DICE ROLL, if they hit you or not, since each bullet deals 1/3 of your health (kinda like MG Raiders but at least they are extremly easy way to deal with). And lastly, lets not forget about their resistance, being able to tank 5000 bullets, very fun!

Now i don't truly believe they should be fully removed - they should be heavy nerfed. Make them easier to kill, make their weapons less accurate, deal less damage and shoot less bullets. Make their jetpacks explode as easily as on MG Raiders. Please, something ANYTHING.

Mindless Masses dont have them and they are enjoyable. Normal squids and Appropriators have them and no one plays them. Such a shit enemy.

SOMETHING

This was my reaction to the patch notes. After playing a little bit I can already confirm a couple of things (i tested them on new planets)

  1. The reduced slowness in tall grass is 👌, being able to keep momentum is great

  2. Reload while diving is also really good

  3. 110 rocket pods are actually useful???

  4. On paper railcanon should one shot Vox engines - it wasn't able to one shot harvesters but it might be bc of harvesters stupid resistance to explosives or durability who knows. It leaves them pretty low so anything should drop them down.

  5. They also buffed KOBE playstyle aka OPS which is what I prayed for 🙏

I haven't tested the new FRVs or more health to vehicles and mechs since am not really a fan.. they also apparently fixed the flames on sentry and mech which is really good too!

I must say am pretty happy so far. That's what AH needs to keep doing in order to bring Helldivers back to life

After this patch, i think devs deserve a 3 month vacation

working hard or hardly working? you can be the judge of that.

Galactic War is shitty (check desc for detailed vent)

Why Galactic War has to be so boring and scripted? I understand (a little bit) that Narrowhead has plans on content release and need to push the story to have this content released BUT some shit they pull off is cringe AF and completely unnecessary.

- Lets start off with obvious "SEAF reinforcments" bs.. Its always convenient (or inconvenient) where it needs to be. SEAF is nowhere to be seen both in-game and specially in GW, Helldivers feel like the only force in Super Earth's arsenal. Besides blue idiots in city maps, that do nothing but shoot you in the back and die instantly, there is NOTHING - SEAF simply does not exist, dont do any fights, and are absolutely useless. Yesterday, when i was looking at the map we had ETA 20 hours to take Meissa, with only 14ish hours for MO. Now i check after waking up and the ETA is less than 3 hours with 4 hours still left in MO (perfect to finish this MO, how convenient).
- The 1 to 1 trades of planets. Its pissing the shit out of me when it happens and now it happenes currently TWICE. Helldivers took Vernen Wells before the MO (for free) and yesterday took Terrek, thanks to 10k bugdivers. Again, today i look over and both planets are suddenly UNDER ATTACK.. JOEL wouldnt allow players to get Menkent for free, nooo suddenly, Automatons woke up and do shit again. It happened with the new bioms MO too- Bug divers got like 2 planets for free, and then when 3 new planets suddenly appear out of nowhere, bug spores expolde in entire Orion sector. Its fucking stupid, since bugs cannot fully control what and when they attack, if the spores were close to expanding, they should attack a lot earlier, i fucking hate it man.
- The inactvity on the front. Its a war, especially Automatons and Illuminate should constantly shift their forces to reinforce crucial planets, in cost of other planets having less resistance. They should attack planets even if MO is not about them and thats why SEAF should be present in GW to help prevent those attacks, allowing smaller Helldiver groups to actually have impact in defending those planets. SEAF should also launch attacks themselves. Here are some bullshit that i noticed and annoys me personally: Aesir Pass got 3% resistance, after introduction of Commando Missions. To this day this number did not change AT ALL- it does not make sense for it to be so high, specially with Vernen Wells being next to it, which had (if i remember correctly) around 0.6% resistance. When we still had Mox in our control, we had connection both to Vega Bay and Wezen- Vega Bay has only 0.33% resistance, while Wezen has insane 1.5% resistance. Wezen has only 2 connections the only planet under Automaton control being Vega Bay - it does not make ANY strategic sense. There are lot more similar BS that happened over the months.

Here is also little suggestion- each faction should have its own type of resistance and pattern of how they attack: Automatons - they can attack only the planets that are connected to each other, their attacks being BIG and defenses STRONG (since they are more defensive faction). Illuminate - they should be able to attack any planet in close proxy of their territory, with these attacks being frequent and small BUT their defenses and resistance being really shitty and low. Terminids - bc of their feral nature, every planet in their sector should be in threat of an attack, bc of the traveling spores, and i think it would make sense that the longer the attack goes for, the bigger the assault is, allowing the Helldivers to contain the infestation before it spreads out more. Bugs should have mixed defenses, both low and high, due to their nature.

That's it, thats the rant. I want to hear your opinions on this take.

I really wonder what the near future holds for Helldivers with the constant spam and review bomb. Nothing? Something? Hopefully something good.
