Ariana Grande tickets, how bad is it actually going to be?

She hasnt toured in forever and i already know its going to be an absolute bloodbath when tickets go on sale. anyone been through a big ariana sale before or a similarly sized artist and have any actual tips, not just “be ready early” because i know that already.

Finally got our critical incident response time down, now looking to build on this with premier Microsoft support

Small win worth sharing: we had a P1 Azure outage last quarter that took nearly six hours to resolve because we kept getting bounced between Microsoft support tiers. After some internal pressure, I pushed to review how we were handling enterprise support coverage, and we made a few structural changes. Last month we had a similar incident and got it closed in under two hours. Not a massive sample size, but the improvement was noticeable enough that my director actually commented on it.

What changed was partly process, partly the support tier we were using, and partly just having clearer escalation paths documented in advance. Nothing revolutionary, but it made a real difference when things went sideways at 2am on a Saturday.

Now I want to build on it rather than just call it a win and move on. I’m looking at whether our current premier Microsoft support setup is actually the right fit long term, or if there are better options for an org our size (around 400 users, heavy Azure and M365 dependency, some Dynamics 365 thrown in). Feels like we outgrew the reactive model a while ago but haven’t fully committed to a proactive one.

Anyone gone through a similar transition and have a sense of what actually made the biggest difference? Curious whether it’s the tier itself or more about how you structure the relationship with your support provider.

Washing machine cleaner tablets feel like a gimmick, convince me otherwise

Genuinely skeptical about this whole category. Like my top loader has a faint musty smell after washes and yeah my clothes dont smell great but I keep thinking these little tablets are just perfumed chalk that dissolves and does nothing real. Looked up a few brands and the marketing is so vague, “deep cleans” and “removes odor causing residue” but no one explains the actual mechanism. How is a dissolving tablet getting into the rubber seals and hoses where the gunk actually lives?

I tried just running a hot cycle with some white vinegar last week because that seems like real chemistry I can understand. Smell came back within like four days which is frustrating but at least vinegar is cheap. I feel like im just masking the problem and not fixing it.

So for people who were also skeptical, what actually changed your mind? Did you see a visible difference, did the smell stay gone for more than a week, what actually happened that made you think the product earned its keep

Luxury cruise that still feels destination-focused?

I’m looking at doing a bigger milestone trip and keep going back and forth between a luxury cruise and a regular land trip. I like the idea of not having to manage lots of different travel, but I don’t like the idea of being at sea feeling like the whole vacation.

Right now I’m comparing Silversea, Seabourn, and Regent for either the Mediterranean or Alaska. I care most about good food, thoughtful service, comfortable rooms, and ports that don’t feel like a rushed bus tour. For people who enjoy luxury travel but are not usually cruise people, did a smaller luxury cruise feel worth it? Or would you still rather do private guides and hotels on land?
