Hello, I am very new to this, so please be patient.

I am looking forward to using these old pieces of software, but through hours of trying to get them to run I'm in a blindspot. I used WinUAE with the 3.1 kickstart and the original .adf files, which yields no results. Now I'm trying to install Workbench on an external drive and try though the OS, but I reckon that wouldn't work aswell.

Could someone walk me through this or tell me if it's even possible? Is there an emulator for the Video Toaster hardware?

In TAWG it seems all the characters age in the same human lifespan, regardless of what species they belong to. In one of the episodes, you can see Banana Joe unripened.

By the time he's around 11, he already looks as ripe as his parents. However, since they're probably 3 or 4 times older, they should've already developed some minor browning, especially with real life bananas spending most time unripened, only to be fully ripe for a very short period of time.

Chris Morris from Season 3, Episode 21 is already very old at age 6, as would a normal hamster. This shows a divide between humanoid characters and animals in terms of aging.

Do all of them have the same average lifespan? Do they all experience the passage of time the same way?

....and if Darwin were to stay a normal fish, would he also have the lifespan of a normal fish?
