Just came back to WR after a year. Is this common?

My joystick (left thumb stick) when playing on my phone just stops working, for like 5 seconds. It happens multiple times per game, every game. At first I thought I was just lagging, but I actually don’t think it’s lag. What’s going on here lol. It’s incredibly frustrating

First Timer, Questions Regarding Beach Clubs / Cholon

Hey everyone, me and my fiance, as well as my buddy and his wife, will be coming in mid December for 4 days. We are mid 30’s. We will likely be staying in Getsemani.

My question is regarding the beaches. My buddy was leaning towards staying on one of the Rosario Islands for the 4 days. I would prefer to stay in Getsemani and take trips to the islands when we like.

How easy is it to hop on a water taxi and head to one of the islands to spend the day at the beach? Do we need a tour/day pass? Can we just go to a public beach on one of the Rosario islands, or are theh all private beach clubs?

Regarding the private beach clubs, are there any that have great pool or beach that aren’t $100+ for the day, that you’d recommend? Bora Bora seems nice, but we can’t justify paying that per person. If it was up to me, I’d hop on a $20 water taxi to a free public beach on one of the islands and spend the day….. I just don’t know if that exists.

Finally, do you think going to Cholon during the week (like a Wednesday) would still be fun? Or is it mostly a weekend thing? I’d probably want to do a tour of multiple islands/beaches that stops at Cholon for like 2 hours. I don’t think I can do a full day of partying and drinking there in my old age 😂. Thank you in advance! Any advice is appreciated.

From is like 7-Eleven Taquitos.

I’ve struggled to find the words to express exactly how I feel about this show, and after 4 seasons and 7 episodes, I finally have a pretty good understanding.

There are things in life that are objectively mediocre. in terms of quality. Lunchables Pizza. McDonalds. 7-Eleven Taquitos.

Still, I enjoy them. Nothing like coming home after a night of drinks with a McDouble and some Chicken McNuggets. But I think we can all agree, these aren’t exactly quality items.

The acting is pretty bad. The plot has been spotty. Episodes have dragged. Some characters are unanimously disliked. Some decisions just don’t make sense. A lot of scenes feel like filler. Etc.

Regardless? I still like it. and it’s that particular dichotomy that’s given me trouble understanding my feelings towards the show. Would I recommend it? probably not. But I’ll keep watching to see what happens.

I wonder if other folks feel the same as me.

Lively Sports Bars?

Hey All, I live in Cherry Hill and I’m curious to know if there are any sports bars within 15-20 minute drive of my location that are fun and lively. I usually wind up at Tommy’s, which is pretty tame.

I want like an excited, loud, fun atmosphere for playoff basketball tonight.

If not I’ll have to probably head into Philly, however, I was really hoping to save $ on Uber fees.

Question From A Cruise Rookie

Rookie Questions Regarding Celebrity (also posted in Virgin because both brands might be a better fit)

Hey everyone. I took my first cruise in December with Royal Caribbean and absolutely loved the experience. There obviously were some things that I wasn’t too fond of:

- Too many kids
- Lines for everything
- Often times felt like an amusement park
- Corny music (YMCA on repeat)

Despite this, I enjoyed my time and I’m looking forward to my next one. From the research I’ve done, it seems as though Celebrity might actually be more my speed.

However

The Casino Royale program on Royal seems to be great. There are folks who play ~$2k on slots (once) and then get free cruise offers all year (only responsible for taxes and fees). This is making me consider just dealing with Royal.. I mean, multiple free cruises? Those loud kids don’t seem so bad. lol.

Hypothetically- spending $2k in the casino but then getting 5-6 free cruises next year would be a pretty good investment I’d imagine, so I’m considering it. Especially since I enjoy gambling and would probably do it regardless.

I was wondering about Celebrity’s comparable casino rewards program. If I played $2k at the casino, what could I expect in terms of future offers, and how does it stack up to Royal’s?

Hey All. My fiance and I need some photos for our company’s website. We’re looking for some amateur models for 1 hour of work to take some mock photos in our uniforms.

Preferably 20-40yo, preferably women but having 1 or 2 guys in the group photo would work also.

Photo shoot would take place in either Philadelphia or Cherry Hill in the upcoming week or two. our uniforms are aprons (which we supply) , and we would require black pants & black tee shirts (which you would come with).
