Planning to buy a car for the first time. No experience other than learning driving from a driving school.

Saving for quite some time to get my first car and planning to get a Kylaq automatic. My initial budget has increased as the days pass and now I can afford a slavia/virtus 1.0tsi automatic.

I know that parking and other things will be a bit tough for a beginner with a longer car but my question to the sub is, realistically for a city drive heavy usage, is slavia/virtus size practical for a beginner.

Me and my wife (both in early 30s), are planning to visit Norway in 2027 February. We are from India and both of us love cold and snow, preferably sub zero temps. We’ve been to the arctic circle before in 2025 when we visited Rovaniemi.

We are looking for a cold, snowy, and preferably less touristy trip. Hunting auroras is something we are definitely looking forward to.

Can someone help us plan a route for 14 nights or share some guidelines? Something around the lines of what we shouldn’t miss in February in Norway. We can’t drive and will mostly rely on cabs and public transport.

We have no food restrictions and would love to figure out local delicacies.
