Nashville reporter Phil Williams is conducting a MasterClass in trolling

On Facebook, he’s posted a quote from the Declaration of Independence about tyrants, and a quote from JD Vance about Trump.

In neither case did he list the source. He just waited for the outraged responses from MAGA types, then gleefully pointed out who said it.

I’ll post links to the posts in the comments.

I’m trying to find the full wording of a quote from Leo where he’s discussing what it’s like to be an alcoholic and why he can’t have just one drink.

Can someone provide the text or a video link?

Is there an “end of season” syndrome for the clues?

I’ve noted in the past few years, at the end of the season, in June and July, the clues and categories seem to get weirder and harder.

Last night’s (10 June 2026) game was notably low-scoring with totals that would have been small before they doubled the values, which seems to indicate it was a very difficult game.

I’m wondering if it’s because the writers are down to the last of the material they’ve created for the season and are using up the stuff they rejected previously.

Is it just me, or is this a pattern?

Would I be justified in seeking a new therapist?

I’ve had three or four visits with a mental health counselor and was diagnosed with mild depression and anxiety.

This is the first time I’ve been in therapy so I’m not sure what to expect. I don’t feel like I’ve made much progress and much of the advice I’ve gotten from him is to use an app called rootd, which seems mainly focused on panic attacks, which I do not experience.

The last time I saw him was mid-April. I had an appointment in early May, but I got a notification that morning it was canceled. I rescheduled it for today, since his schedule was heavily booked and I had trouble finding a time that fit my schedule.

This morning, I got a notification today’s appointment was canceled. Neither time, I got any explanation of why.

Between the fact my current counselor seems unreliable and I’ve been unimpressed with him anyway, I’m thinking I should get a new counselor.

FWIW, my insurance is with Kaiser Permanente, so hopefully it should just be a matter of calling and requesting one.

It might also be worth mentioning that he’s not a doctor, so he can’t prescribe medication for me. I’m not sure if I need or want that, but I’m thinking I might want someone who can give me that option.
