F*#k living on the ground in the desert

My Lordy, the attacks are relentless if your home is not elevated. We just did the pyramid construction mission so we kept the base there and started to grow, brought my tames over from the forest base and all I’ve been doing is protecting them, I have so much bacon I’m just letting it rot but at least I have lots of leather for rope!

Happy father’s day to all the step dads who stepped up out there !

My step daughter told me she wishes I was her real dad yesterday and it had to be the sweetest thing she’s ever said to me. Keep it up dads, you’re all crushing it.

I got cocky

I had interior wood floors, nice glass walls, a bunch of T4 machinery, exotic extractors built, and some deep ore electric drills going. Decided to build a repair bench to repair my armor and I turned it on, next thing I know my house is on fire and all my machinery was in the lake. I was thankfully able to recover all my loot and machines. Could’ve been worse

Waterwheel and electricity. Am I crazy to think this will work?

My base is on a lake and I knew I need running water for the waterwheel so I placed it on a river, I then ran connections all the way to my house which is a decent ways away, around two full grids. The wire is yellow when I run the path but then turns grey and goes back to being yellow but I don’t have power at
Home. Will this work or is the wire connections to finicky to run it this far ?
Currently trying to get enough power to get an electric furnace to make solar panels

14 years today, only 3 years to go to be sober longer than I drank and used for. If I can do it so can you!

Crafted workshop item question

Hey everyone,
I crafted a backpack and brought it down, I then died and had to logout. I tried to bring the item back on my next play through but it only gave me an option to claim or destroy so I tried to claim it but it didn’t do anything. I then made a new suit and a module and tried to bring them down but it won’t let me put them on to the drop ship. I tried to deal with the backpack to see if that did anything but it still gave me the claim or destroy options so i destroyed the backpack in hopes i can bring my suit and module down. I’m super confused with this process.

Where to shoot long range near pdx ?

Hey everyone, does anyone have any good spots to go shoot long range somewhat close to the city? Willing to drive just hoping to not h e to make it an entire day every time I can get out.
Looked at Douglas ridge at Eagle creek but they require members to be members of the NRA and I’m not down to do that.

Teenager filing advice

My teenager got a summer job and I did the math she is going to make around $5,400. My question is what should she claim on her W4? Feels like she should just claim exempt.

Bug status

Hey everyone,
My wife and I are heading to bend this weekend to see primus and we are going to drive up to the cascade scenic highway and get out onto a hike. This weather has been wild so I was wondering how bad the bugs are this year? I am imagining it is more than normal due to the early melt and lack of snow.

Where should I build a base ?

Just started my first play through and built a shack by the drop pod to have while I get the courage to venture into the wilderness. Was wondering where you all recommend I build a base in this area?

Hey guys, I was just invited to a Gala for the head start program by a customer of mine and when I asked if a tie was needed he told me the attire is "colorful cocktail" . I have been working out a lot lately and don't dress up that often so I went to the closet and unfortunately none of my jackets or shirts work anymore so I need some recommendations on what I should shop for. I have a pair of grey slacks and I have some nice brown shoes from Cole Haan but I don't think they will work with my grey slacks so I am thinking I probably need black Shoes, a jacket and shirt. not trying to drop a ton of money on this.

TIA!!
