I’ve read so many posts about 200 view jail and how to get out but they’re all the same and don’t actually provide help. I have 200 followers and 41 reel posts, and every single one stops getting views at or around 200. Almost 100% of views are from non-followers. Even if my reel has good metrics, it still just flatlines. My most recent reel even has an average watch time that exceeds the video length but still doesn’t get pushed beyond 200 views. I know it isn’t the content because on Tik Tok I am getting ~10k views per video and a couple of breakouts with one even getting over 100k views. I’m at a loss and I don’t know what to do to have my reels pushed. Is it just a waiting game until Instagram deems my content worthy of being pushed? Has anyone experienced this and overcome it?

I am currently an FP&A manager (7 months) and was previously a senior financial analyst (4.5 years). I’ve been in the manufacturing space the entire time with typical FP&A responsibilities.

I’m looking to get out of FP&A but I don’t really know what opportunities and careers are a good exit from FP&A.

I applied for a job that I saw had over 2000 applicants. I was tried of never hearing back from applications and being that it is a small start up, I reached out to the CEO directly to express my interest in the job and actually got a response asking about my experience. I responded in kind and they said that they would follow back up with me (did not say when) That was a little over a week ago.

I’m wondering when/ if I should follow up and what to say.

I have been applying for months now with countless applications and I can barely land an interview. I even apply to senior financial analyst positions and get auto rejected. Ive had one interview (SFA position) and was rejected because I had “too much experience” for the role. I’ve had my resume reviewed with minimal updates suggested (I updated them). I talk with recruiters and they suggest jobs and then never follow up with the job description or application. Is it just me or is this job market absolutely terrible? At this point I don’t know what else to do.

I interviewed for a job 6 weeks ago. First interview with hiring manager went well. Got another interview a week later with the director of the team. That interview went well and they said the hiring manager was now on paternity leave for 4 weeks so the hiring process would be a slower and I should hear back when they return. I emailed HR last week (week they said hiring manager would be back) just for a status update. I have heard nothing since this email and it has been 10 days. Should I follow up again with HR? I know usually 5 weeks since the last interview would normally be a bad sign, but given the hiring manager paternity leave and mention of delayed hiring, I still have some hope. I don’t want them to forget about me but I’m concerned about the lack of response
