HiBy W4 | Unboxing
Got the adorably small HiBy W4 in the studio. Here's a quick unboxing for your enjoyment, with a full review on the way.
Momentum 5 and the Wireless ANC Trifecta
I've had substantial time with the new Momentum 5 and cobbled together a comparison with some other industry headphones in this space. The question isn't "which is the best wireless headphone," but rather, "which is the best wireless headphone for you?"
The Koss Flagship | Koss A/550 | Headphone Highlights
A little late for the pre-order release, but here is my walkthrough of the new A/550. It is an incredibly handsome headphone and one of the most interesting things to come from Koss is ages.
Momentum 5 Unboxing
Got in an early review unit for the new Momentum 5. This is just showing off the packaging and contents today, but for the full video my intention will be to compare it directly with the Sennheiser HBD 630 and Focal Bathys.
If there are any particular features you would like seen and discussed in the full review, please feel free to list them here. Likewise, if there are any particular use case scenarios you'd like me to test the Momentum 5's in, I'll be happy to oblige.
I understand that the Momentum5, HBD 630 and Bathys fall into pretty different categories and are positioned for pretty different demographics, but I'd like to think there is enough cross-over between them to make for an interesting comparison.
A New Kind of ZMF | ZMF Tessidera | Headphone Highlights
Howdy, headphone enthusiasts.
I have been absent from Reddit for several years, but with a little encouragement from some friends I’m giving it another go.
Today I’d like to share some insights into ZMF’s new headphone, the Tessidera.
I got to enjoy some extensive time Tessidera, so this is a long-term experience of living with the headphone. The Tessidera is positioned to sit alongside ZMF’s flagship open-back planar, the Caldera.
Differentiating itself from the Calreda, the Tessidera delivers a more balanced and articulate tuning with a stronger focus and precision and accuracy, while maintaining ZMF joyfulness.
Like all of ZMF’s offerings, every Tessidera is guaranteed to be a one-of-one headphones, as no two will ever have the same wood grain and pattern. This is a boutique headphone in every sense of the word.
New to the Tessidera is what ZMF is calling ZAM (ZMF Acoustic Matrix), which is a new lattice they have designed to help control reflections and smooth out the treble without killing dynamics. It’s unlike anything I’ve seen, and adds to the unique nature of this headphone.
Feel free to ask any questions about the Tessidera, and while the review does included some headphone comparisons and amplification suggestions, I’ll be happy to offer more if I am so able.
