A New Kind of ZMF | ZMF Tessidera | Headphone Highlights
Howdy, headphone enthusiasts.
I have been absent from Reddit for several years, but with a little encouragement from some friends I’m giving it another go.
Today I’d like to share some insights into ZMF’s new headphone, the Tessidera.
I got to enjoy some extensive time Tessidera, so this is a long-term experience of living with the headphone. The Tessidera is positioned to sit alongside ZMF’s flagship open-back planar, the Caldera.
Differentiating itself from the Calreda, the Tessidera delivers a more balanced and articulate tuning with a stronger focus and precision and accuracy, while maintaining ZMF joyfulness.
Like all of ZMF’s offerings, every Tessidera is guaranteed to be a one-of-one headphones, as no two will ever have the same wood grain and pattern. This is a boutique headphone in every sense of the word.
New to the Tessidera is what ZMF is calling ZAM (ZMF Acoustic Matrix), which is a new lattice they have designed to help control reflections and smooth out the treble without killing dynamics. It’s unlike anything I’ve seen, and adds to the unique nature of this headphone.
Feel free to ask any questions about the Tessidera, and while the review does included some headphone comparisons and amplification suggestions, I’ll be happy to offer more if I am so able.
