Wheeling Audio Clipping!
Sweet merciful crap, Wheeling's broadcast engineer needs to turn down the levels! When they scored that last goal, it made my TV sound like it was gonna blow!

I have 2 months left in a 14-month lease on my Florida apartment. The property owner left a note in my door offering me renewal options, and it said that the rate will be locked in if I sign by June 11. The option of going month-to-month is the lowest cost option, which seems strange to me. I would have thought that they would want me locked in for at least another year.
I like the idea of going month-to-month because I'm looking to change jobs and might want to move if I get one with a long commute from my current place. However, I'm concerned about this being too good to be true.
Does anybody know why the owner (Greystar) would do this? What incentive do they have for me to go month-to-month? Is there a catch?
I started birding in February (though I retroactively added a white pelican sighting from last August on eBird), and I'm hooked. The gray kingbird was my 100th lifer after I observed it yesterday. The Merlin app picked up the sound, I listened to the sample recordings and confirmed that I heard it, too. I was going to settle for a "heard, not seen" observation, but this guy was kind enough to perch for me.
