I got a retroid pocket 5 as my second handheld. I bought it second hand for €150 along with a case. I just finished my first game on it, a short hike. It was great cozy fun! Looking forward to playing all kinds of games on this thing.
I've been enjoying my miyoo mini v4 for about 2 months now. I've been loving it! Playing on the miyoo mini did get me curious about other retro emulation handhelds. I came across this second hand (as good as new) retroid pocket 5 for €150. Would it be a worthy upgrade?
After playing ‘The Machine’ all weekend, I wanted to try another modern gameboy game. I found Pine Creek and finished it in a little less than 2 hours. Really cool game with a creepy story and surprising ending. Very clever stuff! Who of you have played this one before?
Just finished my first run of The Machine. This game is awesome! Such a great vibe and story. I love these shorter experiences on the miyoo mini. Anyone played this one already?
Finished my very first pokémon romhack. I’m pretty impressed by Unbound. It was fun! I do have to admit that I skipped a lot of the story. The dialogue was just too long for me. But the gameplay was pretty fun. I’m looking forward to trying more of these romhacks! But right now, I’m probably going to play some different tupe of games. Maybe another adventure game. What are you playing at the moment?
Tonight I’m playing some pokémon Unbound. I’m about 8 hours into the game and it’s been pretty cool. Really impressive for a fan-made game for sure.
When I am done playing, I’ll watch an episode or two of courage the cowardly dog on the miyoo. Cartoons look pretty awesome on this little thing.

I knew this game was a short one. But I had no idea I’d be able to finish it in about 15 minutes. Still, really impressed by the creepy vibes. Guess I won’t be sleeping much tonight haha
