Should I just run these with tubes?

Should I just run these with tubes?

Tubed tires just better fit where I'm at with cycling and I just am not ready to deal with sealant and stuff like that rn.

That being said I love the tread on these tires and I was wondering if anyone has a recommendation for an alternative tire with a similar tread pattern to these or if I am ok just buying these tires and running tubes on them anyways

How's living on the US side of the Rio Grande Valley

How's living as a single 20 something guy in the Rio Grande Valley may be moving here for work from yankee territory. How's the nature, is there much to do, population density and demographics, climate, etc.

Edit: I speak Spanish and am also interested in finding a community. My hobbies are swimming, cycling, hiking, and soccer

Best time to visit

Whats up everyone. I have a friend who just started their first year at MTU, so they're unfamiliar with the area. I just want to know the best times of the year to visit Houghton/Porkies/Calumet for camping before the snow really hits. Ideally to see some good fall colors and also for spring bloom after winter.

Thank you!!!

Stressing for Uni deadline

I am applying for an ETA position through my university, but the deadline to submit is 9/11 at noon, an entire month before the at-large deadline.

If I am stressing to turn in my essays to the best of my ability, is it worth holding off the extra month to apply at-large? I know that doing this I would be rescinding much of the support from my university. Thoughts?

I work at the DC loading trailers AMA

Attention regular store workers. I work at the main Distribution Center in Eau Claire loading trailers before it reaches the store. We all know how some of them turnout. Genuinely curious about what p*sses you off the most or just here to answer questions in general.

Hair conditioner recommendations for a gringo

Hello I am a gringo who has been using this conditioner for a while since my Brazilian friend gifted it to me, but I have heard there are better options out there.

For reference I am of white/arab background and my hair texture is similar to Bad Bunny lol.

Thank you for the recommendations and help everyone muito obrigado :D

Offering English 🇺🇸 Seeking Spanish 🇨🇴

Hello I'm a native English speaker from the US also with a "neutral" Midwestern accent. I've been learning Spanish for almost 2 years and I would guess that I am around a B1 level.

I would like to have a conversation weekly and maybe have small chats from time to time. Looking for a serious learning partner for my career but obviously want a friendship too!

I would also prefer someone from Colombia because that is where I will be working.

I use WhatsApp

Colombia ETA location choices and more

Hi, I am applying for Colombia ETA 27-28 and want to know...

- How I should convey which region of the country I would prefer to teach in?

I saw that Colombia was one of the only latam countries that explicitly allowed ETAs to request for their location, but I am mainly confused on if I need to explain why I would like to go to a specific region/city in Colombia (or is it not worth even requesting if I would genuinely be content anywhere lol)

Also I am anxious about my Spanish level proficiency for application. Basically I have been learning for around 1.5-2 years when I started a new job where many of my coworkers are native speakers and I just kind of took advantage of it and now I'm here. I believe this way of learning Spanish has made me comfortable speaking and listening, but I still struggle in a lot of areas I need to work backwards for. My question is, what can I expect to see on the language evaluation so I know what I need to brush up on and study for?

Also looking for more recommendations for self-study. I'm looking into something like italki, but I am not sure and unfortunately taking in-person classes is not an option for me.

Thank you all!!!
