Anemia in women

Hi everyone,

I was wondering how many women with Spina Bifida has anemia and no longer menstruating? I have been anemic for a few years and there is no known cause for it. I also had a colonoscopy and EGD done and they came out great.

I just got an iron infusion a few days ago and feel much better. I was wondering if any other women with Spina bifida have had this experience?

Help me find the title of a 1990s lifetime movie

I remember watching a lifetime movie from the 1990s that had a woman chained in the kitchen by her ankle. She escapes by heating up the chain on the gas stove and using a kitchen cleaver to hack the chain open. She uses ice cubes on her ankles to keep from burning herself. When she gets free she goes to the police and finds out her captor is a police officer. Eventually, she kills him at a boat launch by letting a boat off the launch and he dies by the propeller hitting him.

I can't remember the name of this movie. I am not sure if it may be had actor Dennis Farina in it or maybe actor Scott Valentine in it?

This happened a few days ago and has since been dealt with but it still bothers me.

I am in a manual wheelchair. I was shopping at a small gift shop. I was at the register to buy something using my credit card on my phone. It was just taking a minute for the payment to go through and the cashier just grabs at my phone to "help" me without even asking. I held onto the phone and told her I got it, which I did have it. The payment went through successfully and I left.

The next day I called the shop to tell them about my experience. The person on the phone was nice but didn't seem appalled or shocked that this happened. She asked what they should have done and I told her they should have asked. They are in customer service and they don't know anything about customer service? SMH.

I told my friends this and they said they were flabbergasted that someone would think its appropriate to grab someone's phone.
