Emerging from the deepest shadows, Shadowscale Dreadwyrm is a DARK Dragon that thrives on battlefield control rather than overwhelming force. Every ability is designed to disrupt the opponent’s strategy while maintaining pressure throughout the duel.
Its dark purple scales, razor-sharp armor, and aura of corrupted energy portray an ancient dragon that has survived countless battles. Instead of relying solely on raw ATK, it weakens enemies, suppresses their abilities, and ensures its legacy lives on even after leaving the field.
This card is built for duelists who enjoy tactical gameplay, resource management, and intelligent decision-making over simple brute force.

This is one of my own original card concepts. I personally came up with the monster’s design, its lore, the gameplay effects, and the overall artistic direction behind the illustration. My goal was to create a warrior that feels like the first elite soldier of the Dragon Legion—a symbol of courage, discipline, and overwhelming battlefield presence.
Rather than making an overcomplicated card, I wanted to focus on a clean design with simple but meaningful effects that support an aggressive battle strategy while giving the monster its own unique identity.
I’m currently building an entire custom card series, with original monsters, spells, traps, and worldbuilding connected to this universe.
