Three minor questions about BlooPit

Hey, curious if anyone can answer these questions.

  1. Why was the timpani moved to the vibraphone side for last year and this year?
  2. What wind instrument is the glaux player playing into the Leslies?
  3. What monitor (screen, not speaker) do the synths use?

Thanks in advance!

Finals tickets are already being resold for insane prices.

Seems like the cheapest you can get them right now is approximately $900 (without fees) but I did find one that's over $100k. I'm not sharing how to get them because no one should support scalpers, but they aren't hard to find.

I'm quite disappointed with how the pre-sale was handled (lottery system, lack of communication, &c.), but this is just icing on the cake for me. I guess that verification system didn't work well.

Abdullah Gulab, WCA board member, has released a new statement with regards to clock's removal and the interviews posted.

> Hi all,

> I’m replying on behalf of myself to clarify everyone’s concerns. I talked to probably a hundred people (conservative number) about clock during NAC and discussed topics from how the WCA runs, its future, its current status, the events and more all while also doing my job as a stage lead at the competition. It seems like there may have been words lost in translation when trying to explain how organizations operate while simultaneously talking about event changes as I was mostly talking with more than one person a lot of times.

> The official announcement by the Board provides an accurate summary of the decision taken and the reasons behind it. As mentioned in our subsequent update, this is still an ongoing conversation.

> Since returning from North Carolina post-NAC yesterday, there’s less than a week to finalize Executive’s Euro preparations alongside my actual job so I may not be able to guarantee any replies. But a majority of executives will be present at Euros and you may chat with us then.

> Thanks

It's in the chain here just like the prior statement was.
