But not because my family was actively trying to do so. I grew up a military brat. Lived all over the world constantly moving. It was just easier for me to have a backpack filled with my things. My parents would also ship me off to random places so I became really good at containing my needs to what will fit in my backpack. Its been the same backpack since I was 12. I'm 43 now and I still use the same backpack when I travel.

I met my partner when I was 16 and he was blown away by my lack of attachment to material things. His family to this day cannot understand why I don't care about things. I would say I get this reaction from people about 90% of the people I meet. It seems so funny to me that people react this way.

Anyone else live their life out of a backpack?

I have had severe asthma since I was a baby. My current asthma meds are dupixent, symbicort, spiriva, cetirizine, and using my rescue inhaler at least once a day.

Just one shot in and my breathing has NEVER been this good in my LIFE. Not being dramatic. I didn't even know I could breathe like this. I'm now on week two and I haven't touched an inhaler in 3 days. My anxiety level has also decreased dramatically knowing I can stay alive without dupixent. I'm in the states and our current administration is actively trying to kill me and this is another tool for me to stay alive.

I'm so grateful and doing my best to spread the word to any of my asthmatic friends. This has changed and saved my life.

Maybe i can try scuba diving now. (Joking😆)

Sellers are being stolen from directly by Mercari. On February 16th 2026 Mercari put out a special shipping promo. They made some kind of deal with UPS that obviously did not go well. They are canceling transactions that are still moving through the postal system causing the seller to lose their product as well as their money. This is illegal and it is theft. All of my packages that got canceled by Mercari have been delivered to the buyer. I urge all sellers to screenshot the whole process and add up the funds that were stolen from you. There will be a class action lawsuit announced soon and I encourage buyers to redeem the funds that were stolen. Will update as soon as I hear more.
