I've been looking for somewhere cheaper and more convenient to live but of course everyone else is too.

I currently live in a rental so my notice period is a minimum of 2 months unless i negotiate it, this seems to mean the places I view get snapped up by people who don't have to give notice.

Even when I've discussed this during viewings they tell me if someone who can move in sooner is eligible they will get it over me.

Anyone got any advice on how to navigate this?

Anyone else hear an incredibly loud Rawring sound just now, very low pitched, got very loud then faded out.

Definitely wasn't an aircraft or distant freight train, hear those all the time this was different.

Asked a bunch of my IRL friends and online friends who don't know what car I drive, "what car they would imagine I drive" and a bunch of them said "Fiat 500" just wondering what that says about me?
