Clarification on all the acronyms

Good morning, good people of this subreddit.

As an engineer interested in relocating to NM and working for LANL, I'm having a bit of trouble understanding the nuances of all the acronyms being tossed around in here. Specifically when someone says something like:

"What's the stress like in TA-55?"

"Can I work hybrid for PFE?"

RCT?, TPM? WTF?!?!? None of the job descriptions I've seen use them. I know there's a lot of military referencing (I'm a Veteran myself, so I get it), but to the people outside the circle of trust, throw us a bone and at least spell out what it means somewhere in your posting.

Basically, ELI5 for those of us who are NOT ITK on LANL BS.

(Yes, I see what I did there)

Permanently dead bedrooms - how did you cope?

Me 47M, wife is around 3 years peri and 51F. The last time we had "relations" was November 2024 (but who's counting...)

I'm starting to just accept that we're never going to have sex again. Throughout the damage years of discovering her change had started we have had a bunch of discussions about it, in therapy and outside of therapy. One key takeaway from all of it is that she said that sex isn't very important to her. We would at least knock boots 2-3 times per month, then like a wall it damn near went to zero. That was in early 2023.

We've been married around 10 years, and met 12 years ago. No kids. Already sleep in separate rooms but that's because she snores and I'm a light sleeper. We started that in 2017 and it didn't slow down the relations so that is a non-issue.

So, to the people (men or women) in a dead bedroom marriage, how do you live with it? To be honest I'm not sure I can power thru another 25 years with zero sexual intimacy.

Putting the Red in Irish Red

11lb Pilsner (because I got a deal on 50 lbs of it)

6oz 40L

6oz 120L

4oz RB

1.25oz EKG's @ 60min

0.5oz EKG's @ 10min

Omega Irish Ale, 0.5gal starter, settled and decanted before pitching

It's not very red. Tastes great! How do I go about getting a bit more red in the color?

I've come to the realization that helmet speaker suck for getting any kind of sound quality. Earbuds are the way.

I also like the ability to have control over the sound level and track playing via the Cardo Spirit device on the side of the helmet. I can feel the buttons thru my gloves.

But earbuds typically only pair with a cell phone. I can't control the volume level or track being played going highway speeds.

Does anything exist that allows earbuds to pair with some type of helmet-based bluetooth controller, which then pairs to my phone so I can have the volume and track adjustment thru the helmet controller along with the great sound quality of earbuds?

Google sucks, nothing jumped out at me.
