Mitsubishi Outlander 3, production year 2021, 2.0 engine, 2 wheels forward drive, variator.
Recently had a yearly service with motor and variator oils changed.
Today I’ve noticed a fluid under the car after a short ride in hot moist weather with AC on.
On a touch - not an oil-ish fluid, but not a pure water eather.
Took several photos, noted a bolt with washer lying on a subframe. Maybe related, maybe not. And also noted drops coming from one of bolts above (marked with red line in one of photos).
Steering column is leaking, or chances are this is just a condensed water from AC system, or…?
Thanks much for your comments
I'm in spain and need to find this or compatible board fin for ITIWIT
REF # 8403374
Nothing available in Decathlon in nearest 4 countries..
This is the first time I need a fin replacement for ITIWIT 500 board and it appears to be an absolutely crazy challenge to find a replacement....
Any advise on analogues or whatever are much appreciated.
Mileage 93888 - another intermediate selfmade service.
Kill Switch already brought me some troubles in the past. Don’t use that a lot, so ignored.
But recently headlights stoped working. And that was a necessary night ride, so I had to go on my additional lights connected just on the battery bu previous owner for like just in case.
Disassembled both (kill switch and start button - this is the one that caused the headlights not working as it disconnects light during ignition and sometimes not goes back in contact), cleaned up, put together - something went wrong so start button went completely crazy barely starting the engine. It was really dark in the garage, and I apparently didn’t understand the design from the first time, thus installed metal plates that hold the contact a bit wrong.
Brought more light to working area, re-assembled - appeared to be quite simple and self-explaining this time.
Now working just like a brand new one 🚀
Also replaced the tank cap, as the key lock was really-really bad, making me nervous that I’m gonna break the key one day on a gas station ⛽️
Also ’ve set extenders to put steering a bit higher and closer to me. 22 mm diameter, additional extension is about 3 cm at 45 degrees closer to driver. Had only short rides for now, it’s convenient to sit relaxed, but I don’t feel comfortable when manoeuvring, can’t explain well for now… it goes too easy to sides. Will be careful and understand my feelings, maybe just need some time to adapt? 🤔
As well I’ve saw that my old moto-buddy „ate” some oil, so added 300 ml. 👌
