I really want to try figure out what this mod was called, because it was genuinely one of the most fun experiences I had with gaming.
This may be impossible to find because I don't recall how niche it was.
Some information may be missing or slightly altered but this is exactly how I remember it.
So this mod had 100s of different servers, and you find them via a website, then I assume you type the ip address within the mod to access the server.
Some servers were more popular than others, some servers ran the actual Cod 4 maps, some were customs. Every server had a leader boards of like daily, and all time score.
Don't recall how long games lasted, but I remember there was a vote map system in place.
When the game started everyone would run to safe spots, normally the highest point in the map.
The actual game play was, not ai-human character models, I don't believe zombies, I honestly have no memory of what the normal things that were trying to kill you but I remember these massive models used to spawn every so often, and people would prioritise these as they had the most health, and gave the most points/score.
The entire point of the game was just to gain points from killing , and surviving. I don't recall how you gained weapons but from memory m249 saw was bis just because the amount of ammo, and damage it dealt.
