Kidney transplant evaluation tomorrow

35 yr old male, borderline stage4-5 igan. Unfortunately 1 kidney is completely cystic and Dr words were it’s basically a dried plum with no activity and may have been that way from birth, my other kidney is primarily scar tissue at about give or take 20 gfr. It’s been at 15 18 and 22 and last bloodwork was I believe 19. Been on all sorts of meds and steroids and getting kind of drained from the whole process. I will be getting my pre evaluation tomrw at NYU in the city and I’m a little nervous to say the least. I was told it would take about 5 hours to bring lunch and maybe a notebook to take notes other than that I feel incredibly unprepared and not sure what I’m walking into. I was in the best shape of my life working as a steamfitter and two years after the COVID vaccine I was diagnosed and told the vax was more than likely what caused it. When I was first diagnosed I kind of brushed it off and figured this wouldn’t happen for many years to come cause it wasn’t progressing to fast but now it seems all to real and I’m not sure what to make of it. Any advice and or help or just a heads up as to what’s going to happen tomrw will be greatly appreciated.

35 yr olds male stage 4-5, had a endoscopy/colonoscopy done and found I had a bacterial infection in my gut called h pylori. The antibiotics to treat that on top of my regular kidney meds are taking a toll on me to say the least. Unfortunately I went for a follow up with hematologist numbers were looking good actually great after iron infusions for anemia and otw out the door I ask what my creatinine was and he said 4.9 and my mouth dropped, repeated a 24 hr test for more accuracy and it came out to 4.37. I was told by nephrologist to begin preemptive kid transplant work up. It’s a bit over whelming I guess I saw it coming but now that it’s real it’s hitting home. I live in NYC if anyone has any recommendations opinions or advice I’d really appreciate it. I was given a list of numbers but otherwise I’m kind of lost tbh

35 yr old male I have very progressed auto immune kidney disease and unfortunately I couldn’t do the original treatment for h pylori because of my kidney function so I’m on quad treatment of antibiotics. My kidney levels still dropped and I can’t get off these antibiotics fast enough. Between the fatigue, overall loss of appetite constantly wanting to sleep and just feeling crappy is getting to me big time, I’m supposed to finish my last dose Wednesday morning and immediately go for bloodwork afterwards to check function n overall bloodwork. Also noticed sensitivity to light and spent two hrs outside in 65 degree weather and got a bad sunburn on. Y face n neck which feels like needles, I know I’m finishing within the next few days but how long do these side effects last? I’m an engineer in nyc and work on my feet most of the day it’s effecting work and my overall brain tbh
