I have two very close friends who are both pregnant and both want maternity photos done this summer. One mentioned paying me but we haven't discussed price.

I've done an engagement photoshoot and senior photos, and I do photography at my job, but I've never done maternity pics. Im not worried about my skill level but I feel weird asking for money from friends even tho one asked?

I don't want to charge but with in this day and age, with gas prices, my free time spent editing, Google storage, Lightroom, and I just bought a new lens - I just feel like I should charge a little something.

I was thinking $100, 20 photos, 1 hour (for each separate session). I feel like 1 hour is ideal because since they will be outside, I'd love to get golden hour lighting.

Any tips would be appreciated!

I will be visiting my boyfriend in Antioch over July 4th weekend and was wondering if there are any other events that locals actually enjoy or if we should give this Let Freedom Sing event a try? Also debating if I should buy a calendar so I can have Steve Berg sign it when I go to his next stand up show here in Omaha, or would that be weird?
