I see that the backpack is actually an ammo pack. And the ammo is in cartridges slotted into the back that ejects itself when used.

Could a second player who has a stockpile of those cartridges basically reload your ammo pack?

Also would it be a wise investment to go around picking up spent cartridges to refill later for cheaper. Or not worth it?

Ps. Are they Magazine’s, Drums or cartridges? I’m sure a lot would argue for mags. But the way their inserted and ejects make me think of cartridges

I know I’m early in the game at the moment. But just unlocked hydrogen fuel. But from my point of view. Only finding a limited amount from wind turbines. It’s kinda rare. Compared to synthetic fuel. Where I’m just surrounded by the stuff. Or is there an easier way to make it from common components?

For the moment I’ll keep it to upgrading my airship and research that needs it.

Don’t spend hundreds of dollars on a starter ship. All you need is the Aurora £45 package. All the other ships can be bought in game and a lot of the are earnable after a few hours of grinding.

I do highly recommend getting discord. As a lot of groups team up in it. And going solo is ok to start with. But to unlock the games full potential. Team up with guilds and corps on discord is very rewarding.

Number 1 tip. Don’t worry about money. Have fun. Explore. And money will come.

Ok I like Ollie. I really do. He’s a nice guy. But you know what they say about nice guys. I just watched the stream and it feels like they were walking all over him and bullying him from the get go.
But that’s just general camaraderie. This is just a Friday night with me and the boys. Someone insults me. I say something bad about them. We all have a good laugh and get on with the k*lling.
But I don’t think Ollie has ever said a bad thing about anyone since Ive known him. He is quite thin skinned and I could see it actually getting to him.
Yes the entire thing could have been done differently. He could have stepped and took control. But the energy was just kicked out of him and by the end the collective energy of embarrassment was so thick I think everyone just wanted it to be over.

Sorry guys it didn’t work this time. Don’t be to hard on yourself. But instead take the criticism and learn from it. So when you comeback next time. You can come back stronger. And come back swinging full of energy

Take your standard bag of holding/item box or Spatial storage. But in this one time still flows. Food will rot, fire will burn itself out. And such. But will items get dusty?

I just heard that theirs been a subtle change in the terms and conditions that will let Sony delete your gaming libraries after 3 years if not used.

I have a bit of an issue with this. Yea 3 years may seem a long time to some of you. But I’ve been playing games for over 40 years. And 3 years is just a drop in the bucket. There could be a number of reasons why I haven logged in for that time. Trying pc gaming, got a new relationship. Deployed overseas for a tour. Whatever the case. When I get back I still want to play games that I paid for. I’m still playing games from more than 10 years ago. Like Skyrim and fallout. Now that PlayStation is going to get rid of physical media. This is more of a problem than ever. If there going to force us to by digital. Then have the ability to permanently delete your games. I honestly think I won’t be getting any further consoles from them.

I need to double check with you guys. If I heard this right.
At the moment the Railen has just over 5 mil of quantum fuel. Which is a nice amount that lets me get to places. And even jump a few systems. Just what you need for a medium to large sized freight hauler.
But looks like it’s going to be degraded to around 1.1 mil. Which is going to be an issue for those doing long distance hauling. Are they trying to give the Railen the same fuel economy of a fighter just so to keep it limited to interplanetary hauling. Leaving the long distance interstellar hauling for the Hull C series?

Ok so I just updated my dock to an auto dock. But it says it requires power. Now I can’t seem to find a power point to install a cable to. I’ve tried using wireless power. But still nothing. I see a slowly spinning sola array on the roof. But apart from that the doc looks exactly the same as a normal dock. But now the icon has a yellow lightning bolt ⚡️ next to it.
Later when I get home I’m gonna try using a battery in that little alcove. Seems the right size for one. But if that’s not it I’m not to sure what is.

Ok so I’m still working through the first game at the moment. Just got security level 5, about to enter this castle map. And currently eyeing up this gun that costs 12000

But I’m currently wondering. Do I really need the FN-17. Yes it looks really good, quite powerful. And already has all the needed railings ready for attachments.

However since I’ve found my first Drum mag for the PPSH. It has been my weapon of choice for the whole game on single shot. 71 bullets can help a lot and get me through most encounters. FMJ in the drum. AP in the standard quick mags on my belt. Send drum in bag with P+. And FMJ ammo container so when I get a moment between battles I can top up my main drum.

Yes I know that the PPSH may not do much damage. But when one bullet doesn’t work. Use more bullets. And the 71 bullets in the drum is very good at handling the more bullets aspect.

Yes I’ll still get the FN-17. Because you just have to. And deck it out full tactical. But I think I’ll see if I can complete the game with the PPSH.

Ok Levelled up my security and when checking out the new weapons. I see a new CHP ammunition. Cool. Must be good in some way. So I check it out. Copper Hollow point. 80% damage. It seems to have less stats than everything else. Standard FMJ ammo seems to be better.
So what’s the deal. Is it lighter or cheaper or something? Or as it’s a hollow point will it do more damage to un armoured targets? When will I need to fill up a backpack with CHP ammo over FMJ?

Ok so I’m still kinda new to this game and playing through the first game at the moment. (Loving it by the way. Can’t wait to start on the second one when I’ve finished the first). I’ve just hit the 3 or possibly 4th map. (The one were the left hand path from the base opens up). And whilst exploring there is some sort of shadow tank or armoured vehicle that’s driving around the map with a search light. At first it was impossible for me to get past it. But I’ve worked out its path and have started making my way around it. But it’s still annoying when I’m doing something and I get a surprise cannon sell up my *** because it circled around.

My first thought when seeing this is. Dam. I didn’t see any RPG’s in the shop. I don’t even know if this game has RPG’s. I wonder if just regular grenades would work. But before I spend the next 20 hours trying to fund myself to equip enough grenades to cause a mini apocalypse. Can these tanks actually be killed. Permanently. Or well Until the next tide?

Ok. Quick question. Can you rearm your ships guns if you have the ammo in stock.

TLDR:
Ok so in 4.8 rearming will be a thing. Along with refuelling and repairing. An Idris owner can buy cargo like ballistic ammo, fuel and RMC. And as long as it’s stored on the cargo grid. Anyone that lands on the flight deck can do the 3 R’s. But I noticed that the ballistic ammunition size goes upto size 7. Which will be for ships bigger than what can land on the idris. So I’m wondering if if the turrets on the idris was replaced with ballistics. And if I had the ammunition on the cargo grid ready. Could the idris technology rearm itself?

I’ve just started playing the first game. Loving it. And I’m not to worried about the shreeks and scratches of the monsters as they come at me. Until one guy on discord heard them and said nope. Not for me.
Which made me think. There is one. That kinda freaked me out when I first heard it. That of a little girl saying “Is Max coming out to play”.
This startled me because max is my name that I go by. And as this game was made before AI became a thing I was wondering how it knew to say that. I know that some games could read your files and would throw them back at you. And games like fallout actually had the voice actor recorded every known common name. And a few uncommon ones. To tailor to your input.
Which made me think. Did this game do something similar? Or is it just simply a coincidence and the line “Is Max coming out to play” is what everyone hears?
