I tried painting and using enamel oil for griming for the first time. I think i kinda got it but still needs improvement when it comes to thinning the enamel using mineral spirits. I think it’s just way too thin. What do you guys think?

I’m not sure if this is official mini bits that i kit bashed and i want to know on what loyalist faction is this armor from. If any of ya’ll know please let me know in the comments. I’m planning to make an army of Imperial Fist Loyalists if that would make sense. I don’t know alot about Horus Heresy

I will be using my Bambu Lab A1 Mini 0.4mm Nozzle, Painted4Combat settings for Large Mini's

So yes I got it done after looking at it for quite some time now i finally had the balls to paint it. I know it’s not a complicated paint but it seems lately i had been anxious about painting literally anything from what I printed since this was my FIRST time painting what I personally printed. I was originally buying Warhammer Recasts from china (i know im a bad guy womp womp) because of budget and recently had the guts to buy a printer (A1 Mini).

The first print failed on me and that’s basically 6 hours of printing and worth of filamend down the drain. I got discouraged of doing the print again with different supports but managed to do it for the 2nd time and got it fully printed.

Settings was

0.8mm layer height
0.2mm nozzle used
Print time is about like 12 hours?? Kinda forgot since this fig has been sitting for like a week or two before i got it painted

Printed using A1 Mini with 0.2mm nozzle and classic tree support settings.

So i got a FDM 3D Printer (Bambu Lab A1 Mini) and been printing crazy ever since. Yesterday I learned about RESIN2FDM and it’s a game changer! Been using it on humanoid minis and statues!

Right now my printer is working on a NCR Ranger from Fallout New Vegas and it’s running on a 0.2 Nozzle and takes about 30 hours to print. I’ll post updates about it after the printing is done.
