how badly will this Duna lander being Un-aerodynamic hurt me

its also slightly of center of mass/thrust because the science experiments arnt ballanced. one side has all the ones in the picture and the other side has a radial science junior from one of my mods

What did I do wrong with mods install?

I don’t normally play any game with mods. I’m not the best with computers. But I was convinced by someone on this reddit that CKAN was dummy proof.

Now about 1/4-1/3 of the new research nodes have nothing in them. As far as I can tell it’s not a visual glitch.

Did I miss installing companion mods that are supposed to fill those? Is there settings I should check?

Any tips for using the nerv engines?

I’m building a duna and back station. Supposed to be reusable. I plan on using nerv rocket engines because of the efficiency. I was thinking of putting 2-4 on the ship. Is there any good way to do this.

I’m assembling my ship for an expedition to Duna. I’ve only been playing for a little while and have done landings on the Mun and fly bys of Minimus. Both single launches. When I first put the base rocket for my Duna ship in orbit I only had the docking port jr unlocked.

I just did the first of 3-4 orbital refueling missions, I had to rush it because the combined rocket which is was extremely long started to oscillate. I plan on going to Duna after I’ve completed the refueling and then launched a science lab to add to the craft. So there will be a docked ship long term. I will also probably include as much extra fuel tanks as possible to stay with the ship.

So couple of questions.

  1. Do the larger docking ports help prevent stress across the docked part

  2. Can I take some braces up there and brace the two craft across the docking ports?

  3. If I eva construction to replace the old docking port jr which one of the larger docking ports should I go with?
