Quick context: I’ve always been a jungler. Either by myself or playing with friends over the years, I’ve always been the designated jungler.
Recently, I came back since 2018 and started playing with my neighbor who I’ve happily let be the jungler between us. So I’ve started trying to learn top and I’ve had a TOUGH time learning. I’ve finally got to the point where I can trade effectively against a lot of champions, but now im struggling maintaining my wave/cs.
Now that I actually start winning my trades, the other top starts freezing the cs right by his tower. Close enough that when I engage, I’m likely to get blasted by tower and he turns it into a kill. But far enough that tower never steals a cs kill and messes up the freeze. I’ve been running Jax, so I’m trying to get in there and break up the freeze, but it is not going well because of my lack of escape and usually fighting a counter pick of some kind. I understand top is weak side, counter pick meta at the moment, so maybe I’m just setting myself up for failure by sticking with Jax in every instance?
Regardless, my question is this: how do I deal with this situation? The CS choke causes me to lose any lead I have and then my opponent starts blasting me in trades.
Is the quickest and most reliable way to get the new Jax skin SOLO still games vs the AI?
Anyone have any suggestions for grinding it out?
I don’t have too much time each day to play, so I guess I need to make the most out of 1-3 hours
For the record, I asked my only friend who plays with me consistently if he could help and he said no. In his defense, he also doesn’t have much time to play and there isn’t anything in it for him - so I don’t hold it against him.
Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated
“Over feeding is the most common mistake of the new fish tank owner”
That’s because for every 5 flakes you add, 1 gets missed. It sits in the tank and decomposes. We’re trying to find a good amount of food where everyone eats their fill without to much going to waste. We’re trying a few small meals throughout the morning. Right now whatever flakes get missed, the little cats are munching on the bottom.
Before anyone asks, yes the water had an orange tinge. The aquarium shop thinks it’s leeching off of the drift would (which he recommended 🙄, but that’s neither here or there). It doesn’t affect the water quality, it’s just unseemly. It SHOULD go away after a few weeks and water changes.
Either way, all of our levels came back normal this morning. Probably adding fish tonight!!
I’m not a great player by any means, but this made me feel like a big brain (ignore the Q miss, though)
Finally finding my stride with nocturne and climbing, albeit slowly.
I’ve watched alot of videos and read a lot of guides(including comments on Reddit) of Noc builds, but I would love to get more feedback on those 4th/5th item pick decisions you all make.
Like against team with a lot of self heal? Or high lethality? Or cc?
Or basically any situation you find yourself in where the game is getting closer end game/long game, full build times.
Is there ever a time when you disrupt the core items for something else?
Any feedback or insight would be greatly appreciated!
Found this bad boy in my yard this morning. I’ve found a few so far and relocated them. If it’s a De Kay non venomous snake I may keep this one around for free pest control. Just looking for confirmation
In 2018 I hit plat 2 and could never get to plat 1. After playing off and on since 2013, I decided I was done with LoL and hung up my metaphorical mouse for good.
Or so I thought. 2 weeks ago a close buddy of mine wanted to get into the twisted Forrest and this time I just couldn’t say no. So I’ve been back about two weeks and boy has a lot changed.
After running about 20 matches, I decided to go ranked and got placed in bronze 3. Sitting now at bronze 1, and we’re looking to push silver soon. But now that I’m feeling the game a bit more again, it reminds me just how much of my old knowledge I’m missing. Any old ass can go on the numerous stats website, look up tiers and build guides, but I know first hand OTP champs and builds only
Gets you so far. I would love to get some more advanced tips or feedback from experienced junglers. Things like:
- who are you picking for enemy AD or AP heavy teams
- who are you picking for tank heavy / assassin heavy teams
- who are you picking when your own team is running those comps
- what items are you buying for what type of enemies
- when are you looking to take drag? It seems like level 4 or 5 with good enemy jungle vision is reliable at the moment
Anything to help me get back into a more “advanced” swing of things would be great! Thank you
