Miss the loud already ima run glass pack or power sticks
Its super clean but has 260k miles thoughts ?
Nothing major with the car lately running smooth after all the maintenance ive been doing misfire turned out to be gummed up gas alot of break clean and gas later the fuel rails clear and the injectors are clean
Random universal mud flaps
Why carbon it was 10$ vs 20 for all black
Ebay marauder spoiler 100$
I have a 08 mgm and i have done the rear end maintenance a while ago used friction modifier installed a lsd and its been running fine since the install anyway has anyone experienced a bike like clicking noise on the rear end i keep hearing at low speeds a very consistent click that sounds like a bmx any help would be appreciated ima jack up the car this weekend
Used these for my driver door works amazing and simple to install
Which panther got the best interior I think the marquis I wish we had the long wheel base here in the states
Wondering if anyone has this and could post some pics
Ive been chasing a random misfire on my merc I’ve changed plugs coils done smoke test and nothing I’ve change the fuel pump the fuel filter and i keep getting misfire codes for cylinder 2 ,6,7,8 and other than being it annoying asf it drives smooth and goes aways after driving for a bit but comes back after i let the car cool down any ideas would greatly appreciated before i ask a shop if they can look into it I’m still getting about 250-270 miles in range so i know its not consuming too much gas and i do mainly run e85 i don’t switch back and forth and cant remember the last time i pumped actual gas
Anyone else run aluminum radiator? I did my manifold and my coolant system (water pump , radiator, hoses and complete coolant flush) took me about 7hrs so I decided to go for a ebay aluminum one and I'm really pleased I wanna go for the Dorman upgraded radiator because it's slightly bigger and has a better fan module since I know these can be iffy
Added a catch can and ended up redoing my transmission lines to my 40k cooler
Looking at a used one for about 6-10k is my budget but i found a mint one the guy is older dude lives in a nice neighborhood has it showroom ready seats are cracked no paint swirls no faded buttons etc problem is it has a 140k miles any and all advice is appreciated thanks
NEW FLUID/FILTERS
Complete flush via pan drops (2-3 times drive in between drops 100-250 miles)it's a known fact that flushes lead to clogged ports and damaged transmissions. ONLY USE MERCON V DONT USE ANY DEX MERC UNIVERSAL NOTHING IF IT DOESNT NOT CLEARLY STATE MERCON V DO NOT USE IT
(I personally use a bit of lubeguard platinum premixed into the fluid ) yes lubeguard is compatible with MERCON V it states in the box and has it by name but it requires MERCON V as a base and you mix it to pour in
TUFF PLATE/JMOD
common problem the fact that valve body will cross leak leading to loss of pressure tuff plate fixes cross leaking from the 2-3 accumulator hitting the separator plate JMOD improves fluid flow improves clutch life
STACKED STYLE TRANS OIL COOLER
Pretty self explanatory stock ones suck and have a thermostat that fails I chose a trucool 40k only reason I saw chevy guys run it with good results on their 4l60s
NOT NECESSARY BUT HELPS
DORMAN/Chinese pan with drain bolt
It encourages maintenance lol
SONNAX ZIP KIT I wish I did the billet aluminum accumulators but it's ok I also did the clutch bypass valve
Check Ball 1/4" Steel Automatic Transmission Valve Body .250" (8Pcs)
For reference I blew my 4r last September I bought a used one 79k miles for 1.5k with another 200ish buck got the rest of the stuff mentioned ever since trans has been amazing and temps are always under 200 it sits at a cool 160-180 city driving I had no idea on the condition of the trans I did pan drops and haven't had issues since maintenance is paramount with anything mechanic I remember hearing the most wear is caused by dirty fluid so yeah lol take advantage from my mistakes and enjoy your panther
