Wi-Fi tab completely missing / Bluetooth "Add device" fails with "Couldn't connect

Hey everyone,

I'm having a really frustrating issue where both my Wi-Fi and Bluetooth stopped working, and it seems like the drivers are completely gone.

Here is exactly what happens in my settings:

  • Wi-Fi: The entire Wi-Fi tab is completely missing from the network settings. I only see "Ethernet", but nothing about WLAN or Wi-Fi at all.
  • Bluetooth: In the "Bluetooth & devices" menu, I can click on "Add device". But when I try to add a Bluetooth device, it immediately fails and says "Couldn't connect". Windows then gives me hints telling me to turn Bluetooth on or to update, but the toggle switch to turn Bluetooth on doesn't work.

The system tells me to update my drivers, but I already tried updating them and it didn't fix the problem.

My Specs:

  • Motherboard: Asus rog B850-I gaming wifi
  • OS: Windows 25H2 ( OS Build 26200.8457 )

Has anyone faced this exact issue before? Any help would be amazing. Thanks!

Is the Standoff Mod and swapping case fans worth it for an already completed build?

Hello everyone,

My FormD T1 build is already fully assembled and up and running. I am currently debating whether it is worth tearing the system down to install the Standoff Mod and, while I'm at it, swapping out my current fans for better ones.

Here are my current specs:

  • CPU: Ryzen 7 9800x3d
  • GPU: Asus prime rtx 5080 oc
  • Motherboard: Asus rog b850-I gaming wifi
  • CPU Cooler: Be Quiet! Silent Loop 3 240
  • Current Fans: Arctic p12 slim and a Be Quiet silent wing

Since my PC is already built, doing this would mean quite a bit of extra teardown and rebuild effort. I would love to get some feedback on these points:

  • Impact on CPU, GPU & Motherboard: Does the standoff mod (creating space between the back of the motherboard and the GPU) show a measurable drop in temperatures or fan noise for these components?
  • Swapping Fans: Is it worth swapping my current fans for high-end options Like the Noctua NF-A12x25 G2 PWM chromax.black and the slim varriant? Does it make a noticeable difference in noise levels and overall airflow inside the T1?
  • Is it worth the hassle?: Looking back, would you say it's worth taking apart a perfectly working system for the standoff mod and a fan upgrade, or are the improvements too minor?

I would really appreciate your honest opinions and experiences to help me decide if I should go through with the teardown.

Thank you!

Hey r/sffpc,

I'm currently looking into mounting my PC under my desk to achieve a more minimalist look. I'm thinking about switching from a sub-10L case to something like an NCASE M2 (or staying with the FormD T1) in the future.

For those of you who have their SFF builds mounted under the desk:

  • Which mounting solution are you using (Monzlteck, straps, 3D prints, etc.)?
  • Which case are you using and why did you choose that specific mount?
  • Could you please share some pictures? I'd love to see how it looks and how you managed the cable routing.

Just doing some research for a potential future build. Thanks for sharing!

i finaly finished my T1, it was a great case to build in and still is. temps are okay, cpu alone reaches amax temp of 73C and the gpu is well under 80C, cpu gets quiet hot if the gpu and the cpu are used at 100% ( 85C on the cpu ). im happy with it, i would change my current fans to some noctua fans in the future and maybe add a 2tb orf even a 4tb ssd to it

Specs:

rtx 5080 oc asus prime

9800x3d

32gb cl30 6000mhz

1tb of storage

be quiet silent loop 3 240mm aio

850w corsair psu

asus rog b850-I gaming wifi
