Unpopular opinion but shadow seraphimon is a better mega for mercurymon and sephirothmon that ancientwisemon and I am tired of saying otherwise

Ancientwisemon is the original form for the two spirits true but for me mercury man to angel tree to fallen seraphim has more synergy

So I have been noticing people really don't understand the differences and nuance between these two moments and treat them as the exact same

But they aren't and I will explain why. It's about intent and consent.

Venom bonded with MJ not out of its own survival but hers. He was trying to save her in the moment of the 3 skulls. It did not know if it would survive doing this and frankly venom did not care he just saw someone dying in front of him and reacted. He did not ask if MJ wanted to bond with him he didn't give her a choice and that same issue that she may have refused and they both would have died. Venom made a split second decision for the one in a billion chance that MJ might live regardless of its own safety. It was a selfless act

Eddie bonded with carnage not to save carnage's life but his own. He was given a deal by carnage to bond and heal to save himself. He had every opportunity to refuse but he justified it to himself as a way to prevent carnage from bonding with another human who couldn't handle carnage even though he knew that means killing people again something he chose not to do back in cates run for Dylan's sake. The choice may have had selfless justification but we know that it was ultimately a selfish act to save himself.

These two situations are objectively not the same but are being spread like they are

Spoiler venom 259. This is probably the best these two have looked in a while

Also it looks like they listened about the teeth complaints

Can I just praise this creation for a bit?

Like honestly I was more than pleasantly surprised by this creation. A dragonborn size creation that uses professional voice actors and unique models and is actually stable is not only surprising but feels like an official dlc. Like I have just finished the main story and it doesn't even feel like I scratched the surface of it. The fact it is mcm compatible is also great but I don't feel like it was needed. I have played this creators previous creation a tale of blood and snow and saying that is this creators version of dawnguard to this creations dragonborn dragonborn is also great (also I recommend that creation because the mod author made it compatible with many free mods like vigilant, cold haven, and better vampire series as well as other vampire creations like vampiric steel). If you told me this guy was a secret Bethesda dev I would believe.

But honestly everything about it the most surprising thing is how absolutely stable it is. I've come across two glitches the whole time playing it. The standard Skyrim NPC seating glitch and some invisible enemies that I couldn't see but Audrey could. I don't think I have seen a mod that adds this large of a map that was THIS stable. The closest was wymstooth (though that has a lot of issues still) everything else is like faalskaar which is completely broken (I haven't played vigilant yet but I have heard good things so my opinion may change)

I know people are adamantly against paid creations but I definitely recommend this one because this feels like what paid creations should be

Opinion the harder a weapon is to obtain the better that weapon should be

If after a long questline, hard boss, or so completely put of the way in essentially the last area of the game that most people don't find it you finally obtain a cool weapon it is complete trash. Then you have less incentive to obtain that weapon again

Edit: these are good examples not bad. A bad example are the consort redahn weapons

Hypothetical: One more day is undone tomorrow but as a result Mary Jane is venom permanently with true permanence not comic book permanence. Would you accept that compromise?

It mean we get the wedding back, but Eddie will never be venom, Dylan would become a parker. Peter would be married to the symbiote. And the marriage wouldn't be the same as it was before one more day.

Why do I feel styracomon was specifically created and added as the level 7 for elizamon in liberator because they were already planning a certain plot point in beat break involving elizamon and commandramon at the time

Because it looks like it could be a jogress between brigadramon and medusamon.

Unpopular opinion but I don't want MJ to go back to being just Peter's civilian girlfriend/friend anymore

I know a lot of people will not agree with me but honestly I think it's better that MJ is a hero and Peter's girlfriend/friend. My reason for that being the case she is actually a lot more relevant now and is a character in her own right.

People don't really remember but even before one more day despite being Peter's wife MJ got treated like Aunt May. Basically she would be absent for several issues maybe show up for a couple of panels to a few pages and then disappear again for several issues. It just started highlighting that the writers did not know what to do with her even before one more day which only continued afterwards. Then we got into the whole will they won't they era which only highlighted them unable to understand what to do with her even more. Sometimes she is okay with Peter Spider-Man sometimes she isn't and she will still disappear from comic storylines for several issues.

That has changed since she became a hero in her own right. Say what you want about Al Ewing but he absolutely knows how to fight MJ as a character. His understanding of MJ is not something I have seen a writer understand since the 90s. And while it came after the horrible execution that was the jackpot run it's very clear he has a plan and knows what they want to do with her. That's clear for everyone who has read it. Her run as a super hero has allowed her not only to stay relevant in the minds of readers. But developed a relationship that basically has been stagnated for 40 years but also allows her to actually be relevant in the story. Despite the growing pains it took to get here it feels we finally have a Mary Jane Watson 616 run that is finally worth it to read about after 20 years of basically bad stories for her.

Do people truly believe that asm 1000 story is going to be anything other than what it has been advertised as

Which is a continuation of death spiral and about Peter's cousin. Like honestly do people really think it's going to shake up the comics in anyway and revert everything back to the status quo?

What's with people's refusal to call Mary Jane venom when we had 4 other venoms besides Eddie Brock

Like we have had gargan, flash, lee price, and Dylan. All of them took on the name Venom there were no issues with calling them Venom. But as soon as MJ became venom it's only Eddie Brock who should be called venom. It feels like singling out her for no reason. Well I can think of a reason but a lot of people will try to argue it's not that reason.
