How popular was this show when it came out? I am millenial guy with no kids and this show hooked me bc it reminded me of old french cartoon that i used to watch when i was 14. Anybody like this show?

A many article stated, frequent moviegoers nowadays are Gen Z. But Gen Alpha still young so they often go to family friendly films only with parents. But as a youngest Gen Z start to earn money, they will use it to watch a movie in movie theaters only those that they see worthy of big screen.

Comedy and Drama has struggle to reach Gen Z audience with some exceptions of course. But these 2 genres have to find a hook to attract Gen Z audience. Marty Supreme, The Drama was successful but it is few only. The Housemaid is based on popular novel which has big female fans who went to watch it. Well Housemaid is more a thriller.

So what kind of topic or film themes would quickly get Gen Z attention so that they will be interested to watch in movie theater?

We can say that Joe Taslim or Iko Uwais as current asian action stars. But i think we lack someone who will do a lot of stunts and is martial art specialist like Jackie Chan.

Do you think we would ever see new young martial artist on big screen that will do lots of stunts himself and is real martial artist?

Boney M was very popular in many countries during they peak in 70s. But in US they didn’t became popular even though some of they songs like River of Babylon/Brown girl in the Ring charted in number 30 on Billboard.

But funny thing is that i noticed that those who played Just Dance 2 especially from younger generation knows they song called Rasputin.

Anybody here knows Boney M?

Edit. Forgot to mention they producer is the one who reveal that Mini Vanili never sang but lyp synced. But Boney M never receive such backlash.

Many people in Europe during Cold War especially our parents and grandparents really loved Boney M especially songs like : River of Babylon, Daddy Cool, Ma Baker, Rasputin.

I notice when there is our parents meet up with friends Boney M songs are often at display.

In USA this band didn’t have any popularity although some of they song were played there but it didn’t made them well-known.

As we know Drama genre nowadays struggle in box office because people do not consider this genre as Theatre Experience worthy.

But talking about drama films before streaming era it did well in general.

I think that many drama genre films were watched by more older , middle age and those who were over 30 years old in cinema. Bc of streaming they just stopped supporting Drama films in movie theaters.

As we know that many tv shows often skew younger or people over 30, but what modern TV show you think has really huge older demographic and middle age people?

For example i think shows like: Downtown Abbey, Yellowstone, Kominsky Method, Crown, Grace and Frankie, Gilded Age are those shows that has older audience.

So TV Shows lovers here what modern shows do you think has huge popularity among middle age and older audiences?

As recently we mention a lot that in order for films to see box office success in movie theaters, Hollywood will need to make those films that Gen Z grew up watching and loving. Especially something they liked from tiktok or youtube and some videogames. As we know younger audience always went more to movie theaters and drove box office. Edit. Well before the was no streaming and older people watched something that was targeting they taste in movie theaters.

Question is do you think Regular Show film would have huge success? I think it is pretty popular with Gen Z and Alpha.
