Anxiety makes even small decisions feel way too big

For me, anxiety is not always a full panic moment. A lot of the time it is the quiet kind, where even a small choice starts feeling heavy, and I keep replaying it in my head like I am missing something obvious.

That feeling is a big part of why I built SochWise. It asks a few focused questions, helps you slow the noise down, gives you a clearer next step, and over time shows the patterns behind what keeps making you feel stuck.

I shared it here because I know a lot of anxiety is not about not caring enough, it is about caring so much that your mind never really settles.

I kept asking everyone else for advice, but I still could not trust my own decision

For a long time, whenever I felt stuck, I kept asking different people what I should do. I thought more opinions would make things clearer, but it actually did the opposite. Every answer came from someone else’s life, not mine, and I ended up doubting myself even more.

What was hardest was not even the decision itself. It was the feeling of not trusting my own judgment anymore.

That is a big part of why I built SochWise. It asks up to 5 focused questions, helps you understand what is actually making the choice hard, gives you a clear decision with a practical next step, and over time shows the patterns behind the things you keep getting stuck on.

I made it for those moments when you are torn between choices, career decisions, or personal stuff and just want clear thinking instead of more noise.

I built a guided journal for moments when your thoughts feel too messy to write clearly

Hey everyone,

I built an app called SochWise for a problem I kept noticing in myself and people around me:

Sometimes we are not looking for more information.

We are stuck because:
- we are overthinking one decision
- we keep asking friends for reassurance
- we already know the options, but still don’t feel clear
- we open ChatGPT, but don’t know what exactly to ask
- we just want someone to slow the thought down and help us choose the next step

That’s what SochWise is trying to solve.

You write the messy thought, like:

“I don’t know if I should leave my job or wait.”

or

“I said yes to something, but now I regret it.”

or

“I keep needing reassurance from people before making a decision.”

Then SochWise asks a few simple follow-up questions and gives you:
- one clear direction
- why that direction makes sense
- one small next step
- what to remember
- patterns it notices over time

The difference from ChatGPT is this:

ChatGPT is powerful, but it is a blank box. You need to know how to prompt it, guide it, and decide what to do with the answer.

SochWise is more focused. It is built only for unclear moments, decisions, reassurance loops, and personal patterns. It doesn’t try to answer everything. It tries to help you move from “my head is messy” to “okay, I know my next move.”

Example:

Instead of asking ChatGPT:
“Can you help me decide whether I should quit my job?”

SochWise guides you through:
- what is actually bothering you
- what you are afraid will happen
- what option feels heavy vs clear
- what small action you can take before making a big decision

Over time, it also builds a Personal Playbook, showing things like:
- where you often feel stuck
- what feelings repeat
- what patterns show up in your decisions

I just launched it on the App Store and I’m looking for honest users, not fake reviews.

If you are someone who overthinks, gets stuck in decisions, or keeps needing reassurance before doing something, I’d love for you to try it.
