Throttle body intake hose clamps

2014 3.5 EB

I recently put in a new OEM throttle body, I noticed that the old clamp was getting bad and doesn't have a good grip anymore and confirmed that's the case because the intake hose keeps slipping off slightly after I put it back on

Got some new clamps and tightened them but they also slip. The original clamps I had had those hooks that I guess should grab on the throttle body lip. Any recommendations where I can get similar clamps or what other solutions?

Strut assembly options

2014 f150 Ecoboost 3.5

I am planning to replace the front struts, I do them myself so it's more efficient to get a strut assembly. Since motorcraft doesn't have assemblies, I am looking to get aftermarket Assemblies.

Between rough country , KYB, FCS and Bilstein, which one has a closer to OEM ride? If I am missing other brands I am open to recommendations

Sync 1 to sync 3 conversion

2014 f150

Has anyone tried installing a conversion kit from sync 1 to sync 3? I found some OEM conversion kits with reasonable price.

Trying to see if anyone upgraded their sync. I mostly rely on the carplay navigation but if I am keep the truck it would be nice to have

Decision time!

2014 f150 Ecoboost 3.5

I have had this truck and drove it for 30K miles, just now hit 205000K miles.

Few months ago I had the dreadful cam phasers replacement and a new timing chain and kit installed.

2 years ago I also rebuilt the transmission so that is good. I have picked this truck off an auction lot and these issues were the only ones, body and chassis in great shape and extremely clean interior

AFAIK, these are the major known issues with this model and engine at a high mileage.

I keep up with maintenance, fluids, oils, brakes etc. and the inside of the engine is spot clean no sludging.

I am debating If I should slowly start looking/considering for a replacement with lower mileage before I put more money in this one in modifications ( first thing comes to mind is a sync 1 to sync 3 conversion kit OEM parts).

In the end I understand it is a preference decision and people will have different opinions, but seeing how others would approach this

I am not in a rush to sell nor buy but slowly exploring my options

Ignition coil replacement

2014 Ecoboost 3.5 200K miles.

I am replacing the spark plugs to put motorcrafts instead of the Bosch.

Should I consider replacing the ignition coils as well considering the high mileage? I only had the truck for 30k miles so am not sure if they were ever replaced.

LA115 uneven cuts

I have an la 115 42 deck , both blades were sharpened at the same time. I adjust the deck on the right side to be leveled with the left side.

The cuts keep coming uneven like shown on the picture. I can notice that the cut on the left side is lower than the left .

Any thoughts?
