Dog food amount question

Dog food amount question

I have an 8mo aus labradoodle named Murphy. He is no longer intact (not our doing, he was rehomed to us). He is anticipated to be around 35-40lbs and 18” tall. He is on Purina ProPlan Sensitive Skin and Stomach that our other two dogs are on. He was getting 1c 2x a day (AM and then PM) with his puppy food. We have fully transitioned him off puppy food and onto this adult food. I give him about a cup or very full 3/4c. What amount do you feed your dogs? I don’t want to run it through a dog food calculator because I know they can fall on the heavier side to go through more product. Picture of Murph Bear for tax

Rescue puppy, 2mo girl-will be a small breed

My mother in law rescued this little girl, her rescue given name was/is Sam.
We thought of the name Ruth or Ruthie but those don’t feel right either.
Give some names!

HELP-What’s going on at night with my 4m baby?

I have a 4m old. He just turned four months. He was sleeping 8hr stretches up until 3m and then we hit a little sleep regression and I was getting 6hr stretches out of him. Around a week ago he started waking up at 1am (yes I know the “dreaded” 4m sleep regression) but he’s been waking up every hour or 45min screaming in pain and arching and kicking. The only way to soothe him is to have him latch and suckle back to sleep; which at first he refuses and then latches after a minute and falls asleep after he achieves a let down (or maybe it’s just the amount of time he has been suckling was soothing enough?)
He has reflux and has been on meds for it for 2 months. They just upped his meds to account for his weight gain. This seems like a reflux problem but on all other fronts his reflux is doing great. He naps in his own crib during the day for 1.5-2hrs and has reduced spit up.
It almost seems like he’s really gassy or in physical pain.. I need ideas.. if it seems like reflux and maybe a change of meds is needed? But his reflux is otherwise managed. This is definitely more pain adjacent than regression related.

Other info: He is exclusively breastfed.
He is otherwise a very happy and content baby

Puppy contract questions for third party receiver

Location: PNW

I am in need of some legit answers about a puppy contract. Say were given a puppy, who is 12.5wks old. The Seller gave a contract to The Buyer (these terms will be used through for clarity). Said Buyer signed the contract but has since died from very aggressive cancer. The Buyer had a partner- they were not married and have no legal bindings to each other. The Partner gave the dog to us due to the stress of dealing with his partner’s (The Buyer) death and having to train and care for a puppy.
I have now seen the contract which very clearly states these hoops that need to be jumped through and proof submitted to the breeder, such as proof of neuter and medication limitations which if administered will void the 2yr health guarantee. It states that if the owner can no longer keep the the puppy The Buyer must first contact The Breeder to give it back (with possibility of partial refund) and if a third party takes the dog The Breeder must be notified. It also states that proof of neuter must be sent directly to The Breeder by 9-16-2026 from the vet or The Buyer could face a $15,000 fine.
The person that gave us the dog was the partner to The Buyer and never signed any legally binding documents. Are we at risk for the fines listed in the contract for any breach, and are we at risk for the dog to be taken from us?

Verbiage directly from the contract:

The buyer is responsible for caring for the dog as a companion pet with exercise, indoor living quarters, regular veterinarian care and Four-Five Star quality food. Should the buyer be unable to keep the dog, the buyer will notify the breeder and give them first option to take the puppy back. If rehomed, any refund will not exceed half of the purchase price minus reservation fee, less any reasonable expense for veterinary care, training and/or advertising expense. There is no guarantee of any money being refunded to Buyer. This puppy may not be sold or traded to any third party without prior agreement with the Breeder and/or prior to being spayed or neutered.

**TLDR: we were given a puppy but never signed the contract for said dog. Wondering what repercussions we could face for having the dog.

Puppy ownership comtract

If someone bought a puppy and signed a contract and then they died and their non legally binding partner gave the dog away, what could happen to the person in current possession of said puppy?
