Updated to latest iOS, in few days green screen showed up in iPhone 13

TIA for help,

  1. I wanted to ask if anyone had similar issue as mentioned in the title, if yes, were they able to get the display replaced at authorized service centre free of cost?
  2. If not in free, did you still went ahead with replacement from them or went to local mobile repair shop to get it replaced?
  3. If successfully repaired (strictly question is about iPhone 13), could you please share from where did you do it?
  4. What was the cost you incurred in either of the above case? and what would you recommend?
  5. Lastly any trusted local shops?

Not sure if I should use insurance here or not

My situation and questions are for and from India.

Hi community,

Car: Hyundai Creta 2024 model (bought in Jan 2025).

I had a situation recently where after parking I tried to open the door hurriedly at very early morning and since it was mrng time plus very small internal road I didn't expect anyone pass by at 30-40-50 km/hr speed hence (totally my mistake) I didn't see in the mirror and opened the door which led to door hitting a Scotty and they getting a bit hurt and their front side of scooter part being broken and damaged. I helped that guy get up, accepted by mistake and ready to pay for his injuries and fixing the Scotty.

Scooter repair cost when asked 2/3 mechanics - approx 5k to 7K - which I am supposed to pay as promised to the scooter guy.

This incident also left some damage on my car,

1/ the part which holds the door and helps us open as much as want came out and wouldn't go in (I hope you got which car part connecting the car and door I am talking about) - one local mechanic said it's broken and needs replacement, not sure part cost (if you guys know please let me know else I plan to visit parts shop and get the estimate), mechanic will fix it in Rs 200.

2/ Outer side of door is bent somewhat at 2 places (due to Scotty hitting it), same mechanic said it will be around 400-500 for him to fix it somewhat where by heating the metal part, he will try to make it straight as much as possible but that will leave paint damaged.

3/ I checked with him if I get all these done at authorised service center how much can you say will be the cost, he said replacing outer metal part (patra - those who understand hindi) will be around 3K and painting it again to look like a new will be 2K and whatever other cost these guys take.

He also said even I can get it claimed for you if needed and same can be done at authorised service centre they too can get it claim (in both case condition is you have zero dept insurance - I think I have, need to double check).

Not related to this incident but in past an auto rickshaw driver had hit my car at intersection (when he speed through in front me while I was trying to cross the road via car), this left a damage in my front bumper (don't know exact name but a black color plastic part just below front headlights which is connected to other side of headlight as well, when asked for quotation while visiting for 2nd free service, service center didn't give a quote, I asked 1-2 times and left as it wasn't hurting me, neither I caught auto driver to make him pay from him as he left).

Questions:

  1. Should I go to authorised service centre and get everything fixed by them or local mechanic, what you guys suggest? and can both get my claims passed?
  2. Will I get everything claimed or there will be some amount (may be little or more) out of pocket? Approx how much (if not value, % wise)?
  3. Will I get the claim for both my car as well as scooter (irrespective of scooter guy has insurance or not?) (also whether I stay the right story or not - I ideally prefer to share what exactly happened instead of manipulating)
  4. Will my insurance increase from next year due to this? I know if outside India (like US) it does affect insurance but how it is in India?
  5. As mentioned about that other black color part (single piece connecting both headlights), can that also be claimed in the insurance?
  6. This is first time for me in 10 years of driving, anything else I am missing to consider, please feel free to add?
  7. Are there any other groups I should post this to? (like r/CarsIndia , r/indianbikes , r/LegalAdviceIndia etc)

Thank you in advance for your suggestions and help.
