I took the radiants quiz! (Twice)

This was fun! I didn’t know there was a quiz until a few minutes ago when I was listening to one of Brandon’s Q&A’s. I took quiz and got Edgedancer, then went back and redid some questions I was a wishy-washy on, which changed the result to Windrunner. Both versions of the results are very close. As much as I love the Windrunners, I do think I connect more with the Edgedancers and their oaths. In fact, in reading the oaths again I realize I’ve already said them unknowingly. I’m also terrified of heights, so I don’t know how well the Windrunners would work out

When to disclose a diagnosis when dating?

I haven't dated since my diagnosis because I don't like who l become when I try, and I don't want to put someone else through that either. I’m in this place where I’m generally feeling like myself with time and distance from the dating scene. I’m a bit tired, and I have some feelings of bitterness and shame over my diagnosis. Definitely explains why all my attempts at dating feels like High School, despite being in my late 20’s. But I’m honestly doing well, all things considered. I also feel like I have a bit more of an advantage now that I know how to recognize my impulses and know where it's coming from. Even before my diagnosis, I was making an effort to learn communication and coping skills that “normal” people use. My last attempt still ended poorly, but it could have been a lot worse, especially since we both had bpd (though I hadn’t been diagnosed yet), and I think I’m recovering pretty well. Still, I'm avoiding dating.

Anyway, that’s all pretext for my current situation. I just caught wind that one of my former co-workers is interested. I don’t know her in a personal way all that well, but she’s cool and we know how to talk to each other. I’m doing well right now, and I don’t want to decline just because I’m scared, but I also know too well how I can get. My question is kind of a moral one. Do I have an obligation to tell her (or any future potential partner), so she can choose to opt out? Or do I just do my best to manage it and bring it up once/if there’s trust?

I know I’m tiny, but Dark Moons, that is one big lady

First time playing Necrom, so I’m a little late here. I feel like Arya Stark and The Hound

A braid!

I’m a returning player and was looking through cosmetics to see the new stuff. I fr went in hoping for an over-the-shoulder braid, and the Daggerfall Side Tress was exactly what I wanted. Very happy with this

AOT in our future

This has probably been brought up a bunch already. I know “AOT in our future” has at least, but I haven’t seen this particular reason yet. So here’s my thing. Chikatilo and Albert been gnawing at me for years (pun intended). Hänge named two titans after 20th century serial killers, Albert Fish, a serial killer operating in the U.S. in the 1920’s, and Andrej Chikatilo, operating in the Soviet Union around the 1980’s. Maybe it’s just a throwaway, but AOT is a story about the cycle of violence, and has shown one world ending and the birth of another. Wouldn’t it make sense if there was a world before the known one in AOT? If it were just Sawney Bean, I would have chalked it up to an alternative history where the legend of the cannibal cult still existed from the 1500’s, but Chikatilo and Albert would supposedly be from their now-erased future. Wouldn’t it make sense, even be likely that humans have ended the world time and again, given the ending and the theme of the series?

What effect did the integration of Norse settlers in Ireland have on culture and traditions?

Most histories I’ve found on the subject of Ireland in the Viking era talk about the wars and politics, and maybe some other things like advancing urbanization with settlements such as Dublin, but they don’t really talk about what everyday life was like in mixed communities, and how they might have influenced each other. I know the Norse eventually converted to Christianity, but what influence did Norse paganism have on the Irish? How did their language, traditions, myths/legends, and superstitions mix?

Chief saved Cortana two days ago

From Chief’s perspective at the start of Halo 4, he had literally just rescued Cortana from the Gravemind two days ago, and Johnson only died yesterday, saying “Don’t ever let her go.” Now Cortana’s saying she’s dying, and there’s nothing he can do to save her. That’s gotta feel like a massive failure to him.

Cortana aside, it’s pretty wild how Chief ends the Human-Covenant War, and then is fighting another existential threat a few days later. Dude really just goes from one fight to another

I want another “Noble 6”

I loved customizing my spartan and seeing them in campaign. 6 was a spartan of few words, but just seeing myself interacting with the story was so cool.
I had hoped Spartan Ops would be that, but instead it just followed a whole other fireteam. Also, give me my Halo 5 spartan back. Or at least Reach. Infinite doesn’t have the colors I want
